Thanks for the update I really appreciate it. I got several old stoves here and I wanted to clean one up like you did there. She looks really nice it looks like that paint is held up very well. And I know what you mean by the heat I'm up here in Michigan and it's been kind of humid and brutal. But now with fall right around the corner it's starting to look good. New subscriber here. Just wondering how your first stove you repainted is holding up. The high temperature silver paint you used on certain parts of it I'm really curious to see how that's held up after you've used it. Could you do a video and show us close-ups of it to see how the paint is held up? I would really appreciate it thank you.

You can use 00 & 0000 steel wool to finish in the future before paint. That being said, excellent use of brass wheels for the worst of it.

It’s too bad the matching tongs weren’t included in the kit. I’d rather have tongs than that whisk. Personally I think the grater is useless. In all my decades of camp cooking, I’ve never regretted not having a cheese grater lol A P-38 or P-51 can opener will take up much less room and works great. I think it’s way overpriced at $50

I have always use chap sitck to lube up zippers. It doesn't freeze in the cold.

To remove the grud Next time try to get oven cleaner yellow cap to clean the burners, spray the whole piece (or just the needed area) and put it in to a black trash bag for 12-24 hours in an open place (fumes are not good) then wash the piece with soap and water and a green pad or steel wool and dry it very well. I hope this help to make more easy the cleaning process to you. Great video man 💪🏻👍🏻

When the MOLLE system came out it came with the main pack and the Patrol Pack which was a smaller 25 literish capacity backpack intended for use as an assault pack and for short patrols. It was thought that the MOLLE patrol pack was too small so they made it slightly larger and made a couple more changes and called it the Assault Pack when they came out with the second generation MOLLE II system. The CFP90 also called the smaller pack the Patrol Pack but it was a square pack more like the WW2/Korean War era main packs.

Not for sure what the other guy was talking about I have several of those packs in the back inside in there two nylon straps and should have had a footprint piece of thin plastic and a 1/4” foam slid in it if not that may be the difference and honestly I have never thought about zipper maintenance but makes sense. Already got on Amazon and found it and ordered myself a tube to do all my packs
