Mic, Kona is turning out to be amazing! West Coast Interiors does great work. At first, I wasn't crazy about the exterior color, but now with the interior and glass is going in and the chrome going on the blue and white exterior color has grown on me. I've customized/restored several vehicles over the years, and I understand your frustration with getting stuff done w/in your time schedule, but that's just the nature of the business. Other than the a-hole painter the people you've had working on Kona have done great work and so have you and Lori. In the end it will all be worth it. Best of luck to both of you in the future.

So awesome to see this much work being done by multiple people at the same time. Skinners never put that level of work into your bus. I love seeing this shop putting forth all the effort to work on your bus and maintain the schedule they agreed to. Very awesome man.

May 2022! We are a couple of years behind. Would be great to see the bus now. Hope it's in the plan to let us see how it has withstood the test of time.

I've literally been watching this series from the beginning, don't know how UA-cam introduced us but so amazing to see Kona right back where you started in Washington however many years ago that was, but what a transformation from then to now! from rusty orphan to such a beauty. can't wait to see her at home in Hawaii.

Kona is finally getting to the end of the journey. Such a beautiful bus 🙂 I wonder, after all the weight you’ve put inside and additional weight you’ll add when you travel, it already looks very heavy. Next time put the bus other way around on the trailer then the load of the engine is on the baljoint instead of the back of the trailer. Bus is looking fine! I need to start working again on my 65 beetle :)

It's really too bad you didn't have time to trial fit all of the windows and soft top before you got the paint done, but I know you were out of time and needed to get moving. (And get away from Dom). Well, it's getting fixed anyway. Looking really great and the West Coast crew seems like such a great helpful team.

I’ve watched every episode from your first upload of Kona and this is one of the best ones for me! To see you two go through so much anguish and frustration with the last shop and then to experience the highs of a slick outfit like those guys and girls at West Coast… then to finally get her safe at your folk place… just brilliant! I am so jealous this is all the stuff that I was getting ready to do on my 65 bus but I had to sell it to put my oldest son through college he went for one semester and dropped out and we came a dishwasher at a local restaurant he still there 20 years later at least he moved up to prep cook… I should’ve kept the bus
