Eh, I'd say Doom still has better damage. Hazard is more like Doom but trading mobility and crowd control for tankiness and area control. The armor and on-demand block make him a lot tankier than Doom and let him brawl for longer, and the wall and block's projectiles sort of work to bully people around an area.
I would say the match between Hazard and Mauga is 45 in Hazards favor and 55 in Mauga’s favor. Hazard does still need some help in situations, but has great ways to deal with Maui. Between his block and wall, it can often times be easy to survive so long as your team does there job and backs you up. It’s a much better match up then with Doomfist by far. If Maui still had his 5 to 6 seconds of cardiac arrest, then he would be much harder to fight, but the 3 seconds makes it much easier to deal with him.
Hazard is a squishy hunter! Most of the other tanks counter hazard. His ult can be blocked by most tanks by simply aiming up while blocking. You have to hunt down the dmg and supp
P.S.: there is a Hazard specific keybind to change the way your wall works. You can have it like Mei where you see where it will land before casting it.
On 25:52 it was definitely the right play. Just that if you had slashed at them, which you totally forgot, the right click after would have finished lamp and killed all 3 of them. LOL
The right play in the ult was to just block the immortality and deal damage to everyone it has enough damage to eat that and spreads damage across them making you deal exponentially more than simply shooting the shotgun
Hazard is the Doomfist that never came out. aah! Doomfist, I remember there was a professional guy who only uses that character but I forgot his name, well I guess it doesn't matter, Hazard is cool
I have seen every streamer meleeing after the slash and I swear it has to be most useless thing ever you can do on the character. 100% not worth the delay on shooting when you won't even hit the melee anyways unless the enemies are backed into a wall considering they get booped by the slash. Even just straight up holding right click is infinitely more value.
Hazzard is way more mobile and versatile than maug... So you would just want to go for his squisies around him or waste his cool downs and attack where its most valuable
I love how ana players think they're good when they get value from doing absolutely nothing. Just spam sleep and nade on tank off cooldown from any range during any situation.
Im just realizing that many of the plays he makes are completely supported by his supportrs. I do something similar and my supports complain that i pushed in instead of being aware of the tank and heal. Cyc should be thankful for his supports. Clean up his mess
Possibly the worst character next to Lucio pick vs life weaver just straight trash I get he's fun he's not comp you put this character against Mauga hog he's wrapped up
