I love that you buy and upcycle things from charity shops Rosie. I wish I could be as creative as you. You have an eye for making things look lovely. That vase for example, i agree. It's a bit dark and not my taste either, but you could see past that, knowing that you could work your magic to make it fit in with your farmhouse themed home. I have a vase that's very similar to the one you upcycled in this video from John Lewis and it cost me silly money and it hurts to say this but it's true - yours looks better. 💞

It's really warm and sunny here with some overcast now and then. We here in Wales usually have more rain than you in England.

I really liked how you painted and silver foiled the little vase...wow what a transformation. I remember a few years ago you taught us how to paint porcelain vases, jugs, etc... though I’m a crafter from way back, you have such amazing ideas I’ve never seen.

I'm thinking, Yay Rosie has her upcycling/crafting hat back on! Love everything you've improved today. You inspired me last year and Im sure you'll do it again. At one point my children said I was obsessed with finding things to paint with my chalk paint lol. Have also used the spray paint from poundland to upcycle a few decor items. Lovin your work Rosie x
I've painted quite a few frames....added scrap book paper too....given them another look instead of photos...the tester pots from Wilko are great plenty of colours and so cheap and also go a long way. I've added talc to make a chalky finish....cheap as chips 😊 love your videos Rosie

Absolutely beautiful Rosie, I love it! I’d say very White Company. I bought a wicker basket in the charity shop and it was that honey colour you describe - just not my thing, but I painted it with mineral fusion paint in a putty colour, I was so pleased with it. Thank you for sharing your ideas. 😀
Hi Marteena, did you have to do anything to the basket before you painted it? Does the paint go flakey after a while?
@@sarahfilbey275 Hi! I gave it a good wipe down and hoovered it with my little brush attachment. With mineral fusion paint, it’s very tough and does not go flaky - it’s a paint only available direct or from specific stockists. If you were to use chalk paint or normal emulsion, I would suggest priming the basket and sealing it afterwards in order to avoid it becoming flaky.

Rosie the jar with the cork lid was a lovely shape and it looked like a pumpkin idea for Autumn painted orange or cream with some autumn leaves and berries great DIYS you should do more really enjoyed watchin xx
