Hi there. Excellent video. Loved it a lot. I also play similar games and like them. Yours seems a little bit different though. Anyways, keep it up. Thanks a lot!
So the independant suspension system has now been converted back to a system that links both shock absorbers to each other? Looks like it works anyway nice job.
some very innovative suspension set-ups there. Giving me a better understanding on how to set up my suspension on my cars but not exactly like that since I drift on real pavement with real rubber tires and high speed inniciasions. Would very much like to build my own rc drift car from scratch. I see you guy's are not worried about 50/50 weight distribution over the whole car, ? I don't understand why.
I understand the higher level of egineering equals better drifting cars, and higher costs for these little RC rascals. But are there any "budget" cars with kinda equal handling to see if this is worth my new hobby? Lets say around €150-200 ($200-250) ? My eye fell on Tamiya. Not sure its "hobby" stuff or more crappy kid toy stuff. Any tips what to look for are much apreciated :)
☣ Tsjernobylol ☣ tamiya is proper hobby stuff. i own several of their chassis, mostly fully hopped up since i'm a fan of bling (but without bling they still perform very well.)
☣ Tsjernobylol ☣ depends if you want countersteer, etc sakura d3, streetjam ota r31 are pretty decent and cheap and well liked online. i like my sakura much more than my ta05 and it's about half the price for the kit. just like the tamiya and most cheaper cars there are a few "essential" upgrades needed, or just tweaks sometimes. but it's usually simple and cheap most of the time.
hpi falken car, Tamiya stuffs nice plus if u like building ur own car Tamiya is nice a fairly priced car radio battery charger like 500.00 hpi falken car is hella impressive rtr esc,its just they way better deal.Upgrades is where u start spending money, like these Japan cars r prob well into the 1k price and over
Don Ashendorf rwd is somewhat recent to the drifting scene but it's picked up verymuch. most RWD drifting on youtube seems to be in the asia areas (or atleast the account holder is) also most of them don't use gyros, where most english videos i've seen do have a gyro on the car
stay tune for new part 2, by the way, part 1 & 2 are captured from this event : ua-cam.com/video/v96k1ENsaGg/v-deo.html this year 2015 will have new RC drift cars
Loved the video, very nice cars and chassis overall, and the ingenuity level of thinking is crazy high... keep it up ;) peace

Cool video
What chassis n suspension is that?
Its a Yokomo DIB chassis. These chassis are very good and come with very nice bodies.
So, are most RC Drift racers using a 4WD chassis? Or RWD? Because ive heard most use 4wd.
