I had to stop the video at the “If you don’t know how to get the spindle off then you’ve got no business changing this wheel bearing” remark. Finally someone who’s familiar with working behind someone else 🤣
Thanks so much, I was able to remove the wheel hub. I didn't align the holes that well so I cracked the rotor, anyways, just got new rotors so will look even better. I owe you a box of Capri juice!
Hey brother, the four pin socket for that preload ring is W1272 at your local Oreilly store. The torque on that ring is 205 ft. lbs. (Yes I’ve got by using the punch & hammer too. But preload is important for longevity of that Bearing!). Thanks for the sockets and Rotor spacing tip! Two treated 4”x6” blocks 11” long stood on edge, with two thin steel plates on top makes your press cradle spacing (taller) deeper also.
If I'd of know that rotor trick would have saved me days of hassle and headaches trying to remove the bearing. A suggestion, remove the snap ring before you press it out.
Looks like a pain in the you know what! Can you buy the whole Assembly? How much time do you think you got wrapped up into it? Man! Definitely makes me want a moon pie! Nice work thanks for sharing.
I probably had a few hours in it. I’m not sure if you can get the whole unit but if you can I’m sure it’s expensive but if you have a nice press and some patience it can be done👍

Awesome! Thanks for the tips👍
59 ftlbf is the torque on the spanner nut. Took forever to find it.

you can't access the snap ring until the hub has been pressed out so it's kind of a multi-step process. Thanks for the comment👍
I'm here boost the algorithm, also to get a Moonpie.
Awesome!!!!👍
What size is the spanner nut diameter for the holes? 2 3/8?
Thanks for the help
Thanks for the comment 👍
What art the parts needed for it?
Great job 👍
Thanks for the comment👍
No new snap ring ?
I don’t have capri sun on hand, will a red Bull suffice?
Absolutely 👍😀
