Becuz hearing a whistle all the time hurts your ears and it’s also nice to hear something else than the 9 blade all the time plus I may be wrong but I don’t think a non vgt turbo comes with a 9 blade and if it does I’d imagine it’s a pain to spool up and yes I I have an lly with a 9 blade in it

The stock head bolts are just fine there’s plenty of truck 700+ hp without studs. Very rare to stretch head bolts.

Dont mean to be that guy but Ryan’s turbos are starting to get a bad rep. Having personally blown a 64mm on my lbz
