Should I workout or train when I'm sick

  • It can be difficult to decide if you should workout (swim, bike, run, got to the gym, strength train with weights, etc). This can be a tough decision and you definitely dont necessarily need a day off just because you have a headache and runny nose. BUT...if you have something more serious (e.g. fever) and you keep training your likely to feel terrible and potentially cause a setback so you end up missing more days than you would have in the 1st place. Think long term...not short term. Will it really ruin your season if you take a few days off to make sure you get over an illness? Of course note...hopefully this video help you decide.
