Why don't they think about CMS update? One of the important problems is that the collections are not merged. And if a separate api could be used for cms management, it would be great.
For example, I myself love directus. It would be great if I could use it for my specialized content.
Hopefully the “plugins” that they mentioned during their 3D transform event will allow this, and e-commerce solutions

That constant flashing at i-D website will drive many users crazy, but then again, there's not much else to see there

It's just a landing page for a super-trendy fashion/culture magazine. That means they can get away with it.

@@FluxAcademy No, they can't. It's never a good practice to annoy users. There's a fine line between being cool/stylish and bothersome. There are many splashy and flashy techniques that aren't so annoying :)
