Adjust simulation FG%, 3P% to account for shot quality/role and balance badges (better players take more difficult shots which decreases efficiency irl) 5. Add ALL real salary cap rules and buyouts and add better salary logic 6. Go back to the old menu system/UI 7. Add back the full staffs but put in a proper UI and make the bonuses explicit 8. Refresh the player management system but better. Use NFL Head Coach 2009 as a template 9. Add more save slots I'll stop there. As far as adding: 1. Just copy Madden's player progression system. It's almost perfect. It blends user control with RNG and is different every time. 2. Overhaul scouting. It's time. Focus more on floor and ceiling of prospects. 3. Allow users to carry over save files like the Show used to do 4. Allow users to carry over rosters and draft classes. Better yet allow users to upload rosters from Excel 5. Go back to using a home page with all of the goings on in the league 6. Make the player roles mean something. 7. Allow coaches, role and age to influence and change player tendencies This is just the tip of the iceberg.
I commented this on your other video, I agree with you, jokic gets drafted in the top 5, when he was drafted in the 2nd round IRL. They need to make the players accurate to what they were when they got drafted. (Ratings wise) And just for Eras you should have to rely on the scouts you hire and if the scouts are good enough, they can have a chance at spotting the talent of players like jokic or a draymond. They can still allow us to draft who we want but the scouts should give us a list of players to draft and we can only pick off that list. I think it’s the best way to make Eras fair, so we as the player don’t have an unfair advantage over the cpu because there are still some low rated players that the cpu doesn’t know will be good that we do.

You can draft Jokic at 8 but there's no guarantee he's gonna be Jokic. Likewise if you draft James Wiseman at #2 he might boom instead of bust. And I'd argue the player should have the option regardless. It's no different than being able to change ratings.

I only played on PC until "NEXT GEN"... then I immediately realized MyNBA still had issues on the new gen consoles. Things have improved some but I'm just glad this is back on PC so I can just fix the errors, report them to 2K and still enjoy the game while the errors slowly get addressed. In my experience it takes a few game cycles to get the glaring issues out of the way so issues that are harder to notice, take longer to get a fix.
I hate the whole “they don’t make any money on the mode so they don’t pay attention to it” saying . That’s insane! The game is still sold at full price and it’s a mode they’ve chosen to incorporate in THEIR own game. There’s no excuse for half assing a mode and getting a pass for it because it doesn’t make them money, there’s still paying customers that play the mode! It’s really say what this company had become and I’m praying on that downfall so hard

They need to fix 2 way contracts , because I’ll try to sign a player to a 2 way and they never want to sign as a 2 way player. They also need to fix the contracts some players sign. There will be mid to high 80 overalls that’ll sign with a contending team for the minimum which makes it almost impossible to beat that team in the playoffs because that team is unfairly stacked. Another thing they need to add is updated hairstyles throughout the years, if you start in the Lebron era, Lebron at the end of his career should not look like rookie Lebron, they need to have set dates for the players to get updated. It doesn’t have to be perfect, I just want to see them age at some point
This is the first 2k that has eras on PC. Which means this is the only Eras where you're going to have Barkley, Miller and all the other missing guys with their actual faces.... Once the mods are available.

This is what I primarily play my NBA. But it's crazy how broken this is. No matter how well you play defense against the CPU they always find a way to score. Your teammates don't help you at all they leave people wide open, and not that long ago I had the game blame the cheat to stop me from winning a game. I was going for a last shot at the 4th quarter and the game made a quick substitute window pop up to stop me from controlling my player. I deleted the game after that. 2K makes it obvious that it manipulates the outcome of the games. Also it's ridiculous that your star player can have bad games five times or more in a row. No matter what strategy you use it doesn't matter, the CPU is always going to win if 2K decides it. This was the last 2K I'm purchasing.
Been playing 2k games since 2009. As the years went on it became glaringly obvious that they only care about the modes that make them MORE money than the $70+ from buying the game. My career and My team. My friends and I love playing online teamup and the lack of changes since the mode released is sad. They even removed allstar teamup a few years ago. (It’s different than just picking that year’s allstar teams in teamup). I don’t understand why they can’t just make teamup like blacktop has ALWAYS been. Let your players build the entire team on both sides. They could easily have the arena be from the home Page team or something. Greed has been ruining this franchise for a decade
I don't get why I can't send players to the gleague anymore. To that note why don't they have real players in the gleague. like the free agents that are not signed can play in the gleague.
There's no excuse for the missing players thing,YES I understand the contract thing and missing their likeness, but if I'm in charge of the rosters and I care about the integrity of them then when I see key players missing like blake,iggy,wall. What I'd do is take a 2k generic, literally made the generic have the number,stats,animations,height and weight of the player missing and add them to the team. Personally I'd even make a similar name and skin tone just to make it as on the nose as possible lol but if similar names are cutting it too close then whatever. But there's no reason u can't have the other stuff. It's lazy, it's like they rely on the community to just add all these players themselves..which they will do but they shouldn't have to. 2k does the same thing on WWE games. They know they community will do their job for em so they say forget it
Some issues I found was that if you expand or contract the league the nba cup/inseason tournament becomes glitched. What I mean by this is that it gets rid of divisions and becomes a weird eastern vs western conference tournament where you play everyone once and that doesn’t have the championship game until the last two weeks of the season when teams had already clinched the playoffs. Another weird thing I’ve noticed is that they added fiba but took out the non USA toggle in the vitals tab. I know you can make them from a certain country but there are people from foreign countries that go to school in America. Also, lamelo ball played in Lithuania and Australia but is American. So how will future fiba teams get populated? Seems like a missed opportunity especially since you could just have a nationality toggle in the vitals tab. These are minor things but they really bug me because it feels so lazy for 2k to add these things but not make them work.
They don’t have right for Bill Russell anymore and that’s crazy! How could they take number 1 or 2 greatest centers to ever play the game of basketball not get a contract to put Bill Russell In the game. Just keep 2K24 or 2K23 and don’t get 2K25.

Aye idk if anyone else is picking it up but love the MJF theme in the back, All Out on Saturday was insane. Also, absolutely sticking to 24 at this rate myleague is the only mode I jump into. Seems unworth the money for no real updates or upgrades to the mode.
Very few playing manager style is in these graphic "monsters". It's the urge to satisfy graphic arcade players they make these games. Real manager/franchise games like OOTP for baseball, Football Manager don't care about graphics but have the heart of managing in their games. It's like the two side graphic-game vs manager (almost spreadsheet-games) never will meet in the middle. Just a shame. Graphic sells obviously. But the hardcore sportfans play manager games not bend on graphic

It’s because those players just recently retired and are no longer a part of the players union. It’s hard to get them all to sign individually for likeness contracts
You forgot something; John Wall, Andre Iguodala, and Blake Griffin all show up as draft prospects if you play the 2002 era. Once you get to their draft years they will appear and can get drafted. There is literally no excuse for this

He shows up in the draft class he belongs in if you play the Curry era, but in the modern era he is nowhere to be found despite currently being on the Magic. I wanna be able to play a game and play how I want without worryin if I feed the hot hand too much his stats gonna be unrealistic. Plus when i wanna control one player everyone be bricking and then all the sudden the team shoots 27% from 3 except for the one I controlled

2K needs retired players to allow them to use their name name and appearance to put them in the game. If the player has passed away then the families allow 2k to use the players in the game. Most cases 2K pays the former players to have them in the game.

You dont get the same atmosphere, Or feeling in mynba games that you would get in a mycareer game, I think that is what makes it kind of boring.
