Chino Hills State Park camping and biking with Ella in Feb 2021

Ella and I do a quick overnight car campout in Chino. This place is all about the hiking and biking, and in the winter after rain it's got a beautiful green ground cover everywhere. This time it's 4 months after a huge wildfire which really hit the botanical reset button.

So pretty.. especially the part where your daughter was dancing on top of the hill. Enjoyed watching this 😊 we booked a weekend end of April and this makes me so excited. My kids want to make s’mores too, but I read they don’t allow fires and I see they covered up the fire ring. So we can still use fire from the grill? My kids would be happy 😃

For Dads riding with kids on trails, two REALLY important things for their enjoyment and safety: Properly inflated GREAT tires, and a dropper seat post. Tires keep her from having accidents when she gets a little "on the edge" and the dropper makes it MUCH easier for her to get on/off and builds confidence. This bike has Schwalbe Nobby Nicks. DON'T OVER INFLATE!
