- I take a walk during sunset from the Brooklyn Navy Yard to DUMBO, Brooklyn Bridge Park, and over the Manhattan Bridge into Chinatown. Along the way I pass by the famous Washington Street Instagram location, visit Pebble Beach, and get some great video while crossing over the East River.

Hey ActionKid it was my pleasure to meet you at 29:00 at the most famous Instagram spot in Dumbo, Brooklyn. I've been living here when the area was just plain Vinegar Hill. Hardly anyone knew this area because it was mostly factories, and old coffee houses going back to pre American Civil War down on John Street. Never in my wildest fantasy did I ever imagine this area would become famous.
Wegmans opened up on Sunday, October 27, 2019 then the pandemic struck so maybe that's why there are some empty retail buildings standing there adjacent to the parking lot. Also there is a NYC ferry stop inside the Navy Yard at Vanderbilt Avenue (named after the once richest man who at one time had more money than the United States Treasury). I was surprised to meet you but I'm glad I did because had I seen this video and not run into you I would've been very disappointed. Good luck on your many journeys showing the UA-cam community the sights of NYC that most will never experience in person.

An area with so much history! Can you imagine when it was the world wars in that area?! When the Farragut Homes were new (circa 1952)? The community that existed even before all of that?

Be vigilant. Druggies and rude people everywhere.
English here, and I did this walk during the day and then again at night. I was alert to my surroundings, but I felt safe in both occasions and WOULD recommend it. Also, visit the Time Out food market in Dumbo. It’s the sh!t!!! 😋
