22:50 as far as I know, you can just run over them with raptor without having to dismount. Maybe I'm remembering wrong, but that's how I remember it.
This is indeed the case. I do believe you have to run over them several times, but the Roller Beetle instantly crushes them.
That's true, but I prefer the RP of jumping on them lol

i found the most efficient mount for the scarabs was the springer if you are doing the beetle collection
I saw quite a lot of people doing the Kourna meta event during my Vision grind. They didn't seem miserable.
It's not a great meta but it's also not annoying or overlong so it's not that bad.
i used blish for this, way more relaxing
the golem to the southwest i believe of the one u 1st tried to kill that spawn near the area where the "jump and smash the scarab" event happens ...of course i paused to type that and u found it like 30secs later ... is the one i used for this also

usually GW2 is pretty good about drop rates. I never had to kill more than 2 or 3 enemies for any step of this collection, except one. I killed the inquest for a solid 45 mins to an hour, no drop. I left and completed the rest of the collection, then when i went back to get the item, first kill dropped.

Beetle took me like 10 hours straight lol
I still find this map better than some of the eod ones.
Why was there so much backlash against this map?
