Looks like it mainly kicked the grime up into the water since it was clear before and just sitting on the floor and now it’s cloudy. Was still interesting to see what it did catch in its filter.
Which is fine... sand filter can take care of it if it's in suspension. This robot is more for small to medium size debris like silt or leaves... not for fine particulates or algae. If you have algae brush it good and let the sand filter clear it up, and then of course shock and algaecide it.
I found running the pool pump 3 hrs ON 3hrs OFF stops algae as well as a chlorine puck in the chlorinator. I used to run it at night but got algae. I’ve never had algae since.
Thanks for the tip, the algae in the pool has lessened since I made this video. We just ran the pool more often and added chemicals as needed like chlorine tabs etc
I bought the Aiper Scuba SE and sent it back the same day. It doesn't work correct in my Doughboy linerpool. Oval, 7.30m x 3.50m. Get stuck on the long sides en keeps going up and back along the same route.
Sister received hers today. Fully charged it. Put it to the test. Got stuck and wouldn't move in the middle of the pool, sides of the pool. Pretty sure the battery didn't last 90 min
So its not connected to a main filter, so it won't cleaned as good as a side port cleaner. Its also not maintenance free, you have to constantly remove it, charge it, clean filter, launch it again next day, lift it, clean again, charge it. Its too much work. I have barracuda g3 I don't need to do anything everyday, but clean the canister once a month, sometimes it got stuck with peeble, seed, broken diaphragm.
So yours has no hoses to connect? If it does, then you need to dig it all out then connect all the hoses, then take it all apart and put it all away. I don’t see your comparison for simplicity as this video.
