Yes mate I can honestly say I'm was addicted to food and drinking. I was very unhappy and had no self confidence. After lossing 27 kg because of you . I stopped the destruction of my body and soul . Found my self confidence and have now become a way happy person.
This occasional sister viewer says thank you! For your videos and your insights. I truly appreciate seeing your videos pop up on my homepage. Much love from Taranaki/Wellington ❤
I had the gastric sleeve done, as doctors said I was obese. I lost 17 kilos doing keto, then had the bypass and lost 8 kgs. After the op my kidneys started to crap out big time. Now I eat a small meal every 5 hours. I gave up alcohol and drugs 11 years ago, thank goodness. Almost lost my life 3 times when my kidneys failed. Thought about suicide in my early days of dialysis. A nurse told me my life was too precious to give up on. So, i chose to live as well as I can 😊
Like you, I had to deal with prostate cancer. On surgery day i weighed 93kg 6wks of initial recovery followed by light duties at work due to still having stitches.5 months. Later, my weight came in at over 101kgs. This was in 2023. Major life change needed, so now I weigh in at 65kg, losing 36kg in 8 months. So I understand what you've been through . It's a mental and emotional roller coaster .I've been there. Full credit to you for Turing your life around. it's not easy ......
@thebrocheckclub1777 . Your so right it did follow my surgery. Hence the need for a life style change. I was given n option of heart disease or cvd or change my diet and life choice . It was a no brainer... losing 36kg was tough but worth it ..... onwards and upwards I say..
My no look pass/kick has been, very little, to zero carbs. I don't know to much of the physiology of that approach. But it makes me feel healthier. I am a cancer diagnosed patient. i have stopped all prescribed government hospital treatments. Happy to report that I have no pain, or side affects other than the ones that I was warned about at the oncology briefing. All of the side affects, has been a result of that treatment. My healing is going well. Stay positive and do things that make you feel that way. Thanks bro. Keep us positive.
I can relate. I did one meal a day for 3 years after my cancer treatment and surgery. I mostly ate just meat and fat. It did not serve me well as in that time I devaloped coronary heart disease. Now I am at the other end of the spectrum healing that with whole plant based diet. Good luck on your journey bro.
Guilty as charged. For I have been doing a predominantly meat based diet since stopping treatment. At this time I feel okay. Clay you are providing us old "toppies" with an insight to live a life way beyond our expectations. Thank you. You're a good "bastard".
your insights on life are so educational und valuable for me as a 30 year old bloke, i do enjoy your content very much. Keep on going, all the best and greetings from Germany!
Thanks for sharing clay, i must admit I'm a slim jim like yourself and I do have a belly most likely from the chocolate addiction i have, i sometimes go buy up to 4 of the big bars i think there about 90g and eat them at night for comfort before bed, but lately ive been going to the gym and Ive also been eating less of the chocolate so i think it's working, thanks again for sharing clay i genuinely hope you get better soon mate, you do look good and as cool as ever, was good to see the dogs again especially po and pace, all the best bro, look after yourself, oh yeah and happy easter 🤙🤙
Water retention from excess carb intake is what drives my blood pressure up. Sodium seems to make no difference. I lost 30kg on the carnivore diet. I get too much inflammation on a plant based diet. Everything from arthritis to gum disease is related to inflammation
Afternoon clay thanks for sharing all of that advice buddy I hear we’re your coming from 🙏 again much appreciated 🤠Colin 💪hope you’re Easter went well 🐰😘
Bro, the only way you will be able to make your eyes less sensitive to sunlight is to stop wearing those welding glasses. I used to constantly wear sunny's, and my eyes were always super sensitive to sunlight. I don't wear sunny's anymore and now they're sweet. They reckon that vitamin d is good for your eyes too.

Each to their own mate. Like any diet, there is the healthy version and the unhealthy one. I don't subscribe to eating anything processed like fake meat, fake cheese, or stuff with sugar, seed oils, etc
@@thebrocheckclub1777 I agree completely. The fake meat and cheese stuff is garbage, just processed vegetable oil. I used to be vegan so I find your perspective on plant based, keto and such very interesting.

You showed tremendous strength sticking to clean way of eating mate. Few of the people I have tried to help have been as disciplined.

Well done man. Keep an eye on your heart health. Often heart disease follows prostate cancer.

I did vegan for 5 years. It was awful in the end. So many issues. Carnivore has healed me quickly and incredibly.
