Aliens plus humans this is probably the new NASCAR. and the humans designs of ships will just get better improved and hell even our power generation is probbly getting more and more powerful all these aliens are doing is helping us design better shit.
Bend not break. Laws are really only loose rules made from obversation. Like the video said humans are good at finding loopholes to rules so i think the better version is bend them
@@Geroskop no.. Its total nothingness. You can see because of light. If you move faster than light your eyes cant register any light. You wouldnt even see the inside of the ship
It reminds me of a scene from the BBC series Red Dwarf. The ships AI tried to explain to the MC how hard it was to pilot the ship at light speed. "Even with a IQ of 2000, it's still brown trousers time up here!"
Technically it would be an oval, but yeah, point taken. High stakes rally perhaps? "Smokey and the Bandit" (get something from point A to point B as fast as you can, avoiding the fuzz) Or a "Cannonball Run" (the movie where you cross the USA as fast as you can, avoiding the fuzz)
@@Nyet-Zdyes You've nailed it, those talking about Cannonball Run and Death Race are wrong. The author even calls one of the characters Captain Bossog. Boss Hogg. The only way he could have made it more clear what his inspiration was would be saying a ship named the General Lee won, or having one of the ships play a Dixie horn over the comms channel.
@@carlfranz6805 we were talking about asteroid belt desity and ships moving at, and above, light speed. I was arguing that even with distances between roids of half a light second, when you moving at speed of more than C you have percived dencity higher.
*Alien makes blockade near asteroid belt*
Humanity:Free death race track
*Aliens profitable confusion*
seems legit

Them Duke boys gettin up to no good.
smart enough to understand the laws of physics and stupid enough to break them, i like that :-D

My Granddaddy was a moonshine runner and loved to go fast while sipping whiskey. Madlad for certain. This story brought back happy memories.
'Traveling faster than you can see' definitely pushes on the boundary of the definition of 'sanity'
Technically, you've got tunnel vision in those curcomstances, not complete" blindness".

Ever watch a top fuel dragster?
The driver view is nuts.
You can't see anything after launch until the engine cuts off at 1/8th mile.
Just remember what Jack Burton always says: "I never drive faster than I can see "
Humans in 2021: “Gotta go fast!”
Humans racing an Alien blockade in 1200 years: “I got the Need, the Need for Speed!”
i am speed!
Basically the cannonball in space, sweet!
Welp I would believe that we would literally do this
Nascar in space sounds about right.
:)

sooo space version of how nascar got started >.>
I do hope Junior Jonhson the 23rd is on of the pilots in space Nascar
This just feels like Redline
Seems realistic.
yarp
"Godspeed, Godspeed, Godspeed, Speed us away!
We're going nowhere fast!"
Yep,... totally something we humans would do. We are the "pft,... hold my beer" species.
sounds about right
I could see this actually being a thing.
My credits are on the red one, 'cos we all know red makes it faster
of course

Oh yes the most important question of all
Does it fast?
zoooom
Lol. So much more funny than does it go fast
Red line in space?
Redline 2009 for reference!
is this pod racing? I'm sure that it's better than driving in a circle for 500 miles
No... not pod racing!
This is Dukes of Hazard in Space!
Copperhead Road!

Just an asside... the Sol asteroid belt averages 600,000km distance between asteroids.
2 light seconds apart... considering FTL... just input 1/FTL. Seems legit to me))))

This is a masterpiece 👏
