Thanks for picking up this story! I wrote this after coming out of a rather dark time in my life and---while I may be biased somewhat---I feel that it serves as a good reminder that all of us struggle and fight in this great game of life. None of us are unbreakable, no man or woman is an island. And if you really think about it, that's what makes us all the more beautiful. Thank you Agro, reading it is one thing but being able to listen to this story is a boon that I'm sure will come in handy.
just as often one have to endure..just as often everyone needs a shoulder etc..even if its just showing you care for someone in a small way practical way ,good that your in a better spot yourself! for what not kills you... is another saying humans have is it not ;) either way....a very good story ,still the 'humans are space orcs' but not the ''stomp galaxy' or such... more the 'down and dirty' moment of time that is a single life in the multi generational process of societies development and cultures inter mingling , loved it!
Reminds me of the story 'Humans are unstoppable... Until they aren't.' 'A week later, the crew finally reaches the station. They stumble into the bar, haggard and haunted. And over the next months and years a new rumor about humans starts to make its way through space. A rumor unlike any before. ‘Be careful with your humans’ it whispers. ‘Their strength is not always a blessing. Be sure they don’t do something they can’t come back from, because when a human dies… they die slowly.’'
For the Algorithm. And if there was ever a story to be the first to have shared out into that medium of my social connections, was this one that I think most can connect to. Kudos to the author, and to our amazing narrator alike!
I'll tell you... ive had my days where I've sat in a dark room with a gun, bottle of pills, or any other instrument of death infront of me. Drinking to numb my mind, thinking the worst of the stress of life. Combat stress, a cheating spouse, stress of divorce, not seeing my kids, countless failed relationships, crippling debt, and a lot of the time no friend to depend on. The only reason I didn't go through with it is that I know the pain I would bring my mother, my sisters, my grandparents, my sons... I suffer on through this miserable existence for them. I think that's the ties that keep many of us still here. Suicide is selfish and uncaring for those that will morn you for the rest of thier lives.
If it's selfish to self delete because of being destroyed by those you love. Then they are evil for destroying you and don't deserve the ability to guilt you in staying around
Good story about depression, been there, almost done it. I was lucky to have therapy from the fire force and took pills until I could handle it, but it's always a war (My plan is to win it)
A Little Reminder , 4 hours after this Premiere I will be streaming. Hope to see you there! ua-cam.com/video/0zduRi2ZEb0/v-deo.html

Oh, this hit close to home today.
The human will is a sheer mountain, a nigh insurmmountable obstacle, but not impossible to break.
Once broken it can take years to rebuild.
