Johnny Crawford was my first cowboy crush. I was so in love with him and his horse, Blu. I followed his career until his death . He was a great actor and talented singer. Yeah, I miss him.
Sad to see that Johnny Crawford passed away.I remember watching him on the Rifleman. We were both the same age and watched him growing up.Back in the 60s just about every show on prime time was either a western or a cop series.
Johnny Crawford used to visit orphanages and Children's Hospitals when he was in the military. He was like a grown up Mark McCain. loved his show when I was younger. RIP
I remember watching "The Rifleman", when it was in it's prime, people would come up to me and tell me I looked just like Johnny Crawford, I'll never forget that. I loved that show, I lived for it to come on TV, I never missed an episode.
Western shows were my favorite TV on Saturday’s. My dad and I would watch every Episode. My dad loved Rifleman so much , I had to get him another Beer during the commercials. Growing up in the late 60’s and 70’s , Westerns was a young boy’s favorite show . This one was and always will be my favorite. R.I.P. to all of the cast members 🙏🏻
The musical score on The Rifleman was the best especially the scenes when Lucas McCain cocked that rifle it meant trouble for the guy on the other side😂😂
Loved johnny Crawford and it disgusts mw that you never mentioned he was a singer after the show ended, before he came to the end of his life. Come on yall yry t0 do dome justice to our favorite characters! So Alzheimers did not kill him but covid19 and pneumonia did! Tell the truth! Loved the Rifeman and used to watch it on METV every Saturday!❤RIP to the cast members all gone on to their reward up above now!❤
The Rifleman was my favorite. Good shows back then, Maverick, Wagon Train, Sugarfoot, Wyatt Earp, Cheyenne and so many more family shows then. Not so much today.
I remember watching a video on Johnny Crawford, he was the leader of a big band that played just the oldies from back in those days, funny it never mentioned anything about him losing any body parts, none whatsoever.
The sheriff was Paul Fix you gave the wrong name. Unless you're speaking of the very first sheriff on the show in the beginning. Micha Torrance was Paul Fix that's the picture you showed.
that young guy as mark , he was really cute in this TV show back in day , i watching it off & on in PLUTO TV was before my time ...so sad all gone ...well was VERY old Tv show so i am not surprise & those old days up to 90s was alots older & middle aged cast was in movies & TV shows
Are you nuts?!? Micah Torrence was played by Paul Fix, and if 57 in the early '60s when the Rifleman series ran, he'd have been over 100 years old when he supposedly died in 2009. Sheesh.
Some of those dates are incorrect. He was 57 when the show started in 1958 and died of kidney failure in 1983 at age 82. His last appearance was in an episode of Quincy, M.E. in 1981.
They don't make movies the same as it was. Not many young people interested in Western fashion. Although, still plenty of people watching the Rifleman today.
Chuck Connors, was a former member of, the olph, drum and bugle Corps, at the time they had a senior Drum Corps, I believe he played baritone bugle. I also was a former member of the olph, drum and bugle Corps, they went known as The Ridge men, I joined in , 1956, I played snare drum, and my brother played tenor drum instructor was Eddie Fitzgerald, may he rest in peace, and my twin brother may he rest in peace. Chuck Connors was a member there before I arrived on the scene, but members spoke about him numerous times, I even sort his old uniform
New sub here. This was enjoyable. My brothers & I always watched The Rifleman! It was a wonderful show that always had a valuable lesson to be learned in every episode.
The video would be enjoyable if it was correct and didn’t have Clickbait photo Johnny never lost his legs. The rifleman was a great TV series. I was going to subscribe then I realized not a chance. And the math doesn’t even add up. Video must be made in China.
I loved the show one of my favorites. Mcan was bad ass in his day. Today it's Marshall Givens from Justified played by Timothy Olphant. Also he was bad as s sheriff in Deadwood. Great stuff.
I knew Johnny Crawford in his later years--a nice man. But, that photo of him that you post is misleading--he had both his legs and he was NOT in a wheel chair
Yes, this information got mixed up in the video here, began by stating Paul Fix portrayed the role of "North Fork" sheriff "Micah Torrence," but then switched to Dale McKinnon, also confusing the birth and death dates of Fix.
@@gymnastix he wasn't the sheriff he was the marshal and Paul Fix is the only person to ever play Micah Torrence. You should find something else to post on UA-cam. Your not capable of getting anything correct
I still w watch the Rifleman every day

I watch almost everyday on Pluto TV. Definitely one of my favorite westerns of all time.
Great show and thanks for the memories.

Great show. It's one of my favorites to watch as I go to bed. Not that it's boring, but comforting and that's why I watch it at night
What a great TV series but this video is a joke nothing is correct it should be banned. Must be made in China.

Paul Fix died in the early 80's. Everyone is gone now from that show, very sad.

This is--still!--one of my all-time favorite shows. Chuck Connors looked SO much like my own father, they could've been related.

That theme song of "The Rifleman" still echos in my childhood memories. How much that simple Black & White TV show resides effortlessly there.

Chuck Connors was a Seton Hall man.. and a Professional baseball and basketball player.
There should be a correction mica torrence Was played by. Paul fix.
Paul Fix real name was Dow McKinnon.
Jonny had great singing vocals
Attention! This is clickbait! Johnny Crawford never lost his legs, as seen in the initial picture!
Peter Whitney was a real favorite on the rifleman.
Hello I watch your show I like it
Showing a picture of Johnny missing his legs is a bunch of crap and leaves you with no credibility.

In the beginning of the show when Lucas is firing his rifle walking down the street how many shots does he take? I count 12.
15
13, one was added. close your eyes and you'll hear 13..that rifle only held 10, 11 if there was one in the chamber.

Why in the world did you say we would see what they look like today when all of them are dead?
You are either misguided or a liar, Sir. Johnny Crawford did NOT have amputations. He died of Altimers! 😢
No,no..he had a thing for midgets, so he donated his feet to interspecies limb grafting.
