My personal artistic interpretation is that Isha is mute, but you can still understand her. It's the same with music, you dont have to understand the lyrics, you can feel the message thru the melody.
I saw a youtube video where the girl said " I didn't really care about Isha." I was like ok you must not be human i'm a 33 yo man and I was sobbing like a small girl.

Considering how much it costs for them to add even the smallest detail I seriously doubt that doesn't mean anything. AND when she falls in there you can clearly see some kind of purple light, probably originated from her powers. But anyways, it felt so random. Not only that, Heimerdinger was even worse. It didn't feel like he died because there was some kind of problem in the machine, but more like they created that problem precisely for him to die randomly, just to add a bit of sadness in a scene that otherwise was kinda cool.
@lucamannini5207 someone had to operate the controls. Would it have been better if powder took the risk when she had nothing to do with thier verse. Hiemer was the only 1 who could take that risk and the only 1 who should have took that risk. We seems from season 1 that arcane energy deletes you. we saw what happened to sky in a very similar situation.
