Wow - such a nice video! By the time I came of age, the North Shore was long gone...I wish I could have gotten to ride it. But, I can relive it's memory through books and videos. Thanks again!
I wouldn't think that the background music would work while displaying these NSL shots. But it does. Great shots & fitting music. Thanks for sharing.
The footage at 2:07-3:40 is the original Illinois Railway Museum, before its relocation to Union in 1964.

The North Shore Line ended operations in January 1963, so this footage has to be before then. It appears to be summertime.
Must've been after the end of revenue service. Sad event. Sad music.
