I separated it without looking at it, so I had to use your video to figure out how to put it together. It really helped to know that there is an order of specific pieces in putting it back together! Great job explaining the process!
I bought this puzzle because of your video and it's great! There is actually one other way of taking it apart that I've found. You pull the hanayama piece to the front of the spiral, then slide it back with the piece to its left (the same two pieces you use, except now it's the other one that disconnects instead of the hanayama piece). Cheers! Looking forward to more videos.
Oh man, I was watching some of your other videos and thinking about that thing and how much I miss it. I got one as a gift about ten years ago. Yep, it's been around that long. Mine didn't have the brand marking so I had to look for imperfections like pits and nicks on the metal to identify a "key" piece. The day I got it I managed to solve it in about an hour of fiddling on the way home from work on the train. Was kind of a bad day and that thing turned my day around so hence the good memory! Later on an old boss of mine actually stole it. Anyway, I found a couple of other ways to get some more puzzle time out of it. Mix up the parts after disassembly! Go ahead and roll them like dice. Good times. I also was able to solve it in one hand. I learned to do it it both left and right-handed. Try it. Quite fun! For me it went from being a puzzle to a fun bit of fidget I kept on my desk until that bastard fatman of a boss ripped it off.
also works with the logo in the center of the three pieces, ie the three pieces would be two unmarked with the logo in the middle and the two that slide out can also be unmarked.
I just watched your Spiral and Marble solution videos. It's funny how you rate the difficulty, I'd rate it the other way around. I solved Spiral in 2 Minutes, and with Marble I thought "easy", disassembled it and got stuck for weeks. xD I knew I didn't pay enough attention to the disassembly. If I remember correctly, I saw Spiral on a medieval market, and it's difficulty was rated 3 stars.
I've seen a different way to solve this puzzle. You spin it then tap it from the top and it falls apart. This is because it is partially held together by gravity. When you spin it the centrifugal force overcomes this gravity meaning that a simple tap will cause it to disassemble. So you spin, let it stop, then tap.
How to solve with two easy steps from two youtubers Step one: send it to UncleRob Step two (if it's not appart in pieces): send to HowToBasic Step three: smile in satisfaction in a solved puzzle Also Guten Tag Mr.Puzzle
If you look closely on the inside of the recessed part of each piece, you'll notice that each actually DOES have a different marking, giving you an order to put them in if they get mixed up. One has 3 little dots, one has 2, one has 1, one has nothing and then the Hanayama piece. That is the sequence. I actually noticed it before I managed to get it apart.
Not gonna lie-- this took me a few hours to do. I got it apart quickly, but I took it all the way apart and mixed them up without really knowing what I was doing. It took forever to put it back together. Now it is so simple... also, it's as if the taper is wearing away some, and the puzzle comes apart and goes together much easier than it did the first few times.
After working at this for months while being able to see, I accidentally solved it the second night of fiddling in the dark. I couldn't quite remember how I did it or figure how to put it back, so now I'm here. :/ Thank you for the help.
As you were showing it in the first half of the vid', I figured the solution had to be something like that. I'm gonna say: All in all - not that difficult of a puzzle.
I'm glad I saw the solution, because I was sure there was a 'hidden-pin' obstruction, and you had to go 'tap-tap', here, then turn around tap-tap there, or hold one piece and sort of jiggle the whole thing, and then, and then... I would have spent 10 years doing that.
I got this, and I loved just playing with it absentmindedly, then when I wasn't looking "I solved it" it feel apart. Thank you for showing the assembly process, since I didn't see it fall apart I didn't know the twist. Pun intended.
I like this one for not having hidden mechanics. Hidden pins or magnets are also 'puzzle-ish' I guess, but this one doesn't try to trick you. All you need to solve it is in plain sight.
Still a classic puzzle! And one of the first times you used the word chamfered (which is actually pronounced shamm-fəd), a word I don't think I'd heard since metalwork class 40 years ago :)
The problem is that I need both hands-free and free sight. I know that this negative angle can be confusion. I try getting it even more straight from the top position.
Drake Winters AMSR makes me want to tear the life out of a child's body. It makes me so irritated I feel like grabbing an enormous butcher knife and killing everyone within 58.37 miles.
Is there a way to tell exactly the order of the pieces? I took mine apart, and of course mixed up the pieces, before I saw this video that says 'make sure they are in the correct order', but doesn't say what that is. I did manage to get it back together, but I think the order is slightly wrong, as the reassembled puzzle doesn't open quite as far as it used to, I think. So I disassemble and reassemble in another order, and it still doesn't seem to fan out as much as it did originally. Would have been nice if there was some indicator on each piece as to the order.
Ok so this puzzle is level 5 of 6 in the hanayama range. The ufo was rated 4 out of 6 and was way harder and more satisfying. I got the spiral done in 5 minutes! Apart and shuffled the parts and back together. The ufo one took me 8 hours! And was more satisfying.
So true...5 stars..yeah right. The same with Cast Devil...4 stars???? That one is so simple. I got something like that when I was a child and solved it withing minutes. And then I saw last year it was one of the Cast Puzzles 4 stars.
I bought one of these but this solution doesn't work for me, are there multiple variants? I'm sure I've tried it correctly too EDIT: nvm I got it, important to note that the 2 parts that originally stayed level with one another (including the logo piece) are not together before you twist
I really like this One I’ve seen a different version of this one that had a pin in it and you Spin it between your two fingers, I like this one very much.
Prefer this over others because fits in pockets and makes for good bar bet. Looking like ufo metal intrigues goofy kids but is not toy looking to where adults can dismiss it as child's play.
Are you coming in his videos every month to coment shit about his way of talking.?? Serious? Don't you have a life? I really hate people like you that can't be good at anything but always have to say something about the others. Shame...

I like that, very simple, small design, and yet so captivating.
i particularly enjoyed this one.
I had one fo those, i just threw it on the floor and the pieces separeted...

Good job
You are smart.
These videos are excellent very calming
Thanks!

I forgot the name of one of the puzzles I got but when I finally figured it out I was so happy. It was a good feeling.

Great story! Also I hope you told your ex boss to stick it up his you know what
Thank You Mr Puzzle. Much Respect for You. Be Well.
The first time I did this I took it apart in a few seconds... but I mixed them up and had a heck of a time putting it back together!
also works with the logo in the center of the three pieces, ie the three pieces would be two unmarked with the logo in the middle and the two that slide out can also be unmarked.
Mr.Puzzle I just solved this, and cane to your video to see how you did it, and I think there are two variations of solving!
With modifications, it would make a good lock for a safe

I'm so addicted to your videos!
level 6 puzzle is made of neodymium magnets..
OMG
Widi Syahrizal Nope Dylithium Crystals
This is as easy as level 1 NOT level 5/5
@@simonci5177 once you find out, yes it is easy
This is a level 5 not a level 6

this is better than a fidget spinner
When I was a kid I had a puzzle and had to draw myself diagrams to have a key haha this is a great channel cheers!
When you introduced the different size of rail I guessed the solution right away
That was satisfying when he took the prices apart

Same happened to me when I took it apart for the first time! :P

I would use this for my bike lock, if anyone stole it they deserve it
jason nam but how are you gonna make it into a lock
jason nam what if your bike was stolen by mr.puzzle
KrissGO oh ok
people that steal bikes cut through chains they dont solve puzzles lol
jason nam simple just cut the chain eliminating the lock
My right ear really enjoyed this

The greatest difficulty is in assembling the puzzle after you mix up the pieces.
What a smart puzzle.
I would love to see a video on how this is made.
Is 3d printing with investment casting involved ??
It is die casted
This will be a great fidget toy
omgoodness...THIS ONE ASWELL....💜👍🐈🙋.....MUST HAVE.....ty for sharing
sehr sehr gut! Danke!

This one was rather easy, I intermediately assumed that if it were stretched to the maximum. You would find a small gap large enough to twist them out
I like this puzzle 👍
I was able to take it apart and put it back together but not in the right configuration. I hate when that happens.
I mixed mine after I solved it, I ended up putting it back together, but it took me a while.
i used to have one of these, i got it disassembled but i lost one of the pieces before i could put it back together :(
Still a classic puzzle! And one of the first times you used the word chamfered (which is actually pronounced shamm-fəd), a word I don't think I'd heard since metalwork class 40 years ago :)
Das lag seit 4 Jahren in der Schublade ohne gelöst zu werden. Danke...
Gerne! Danke für das Feedback!

Consider changing the camera angle to one that mimics your natural line of sight. The overhead seems too prominently forward and awkward.
The problem is that I need both hands-free and free sight.
I know that this negative angle can be confusion.
I try getting it even more straight from the top position.
no problem brotha, great vid!
I really want one of these
I like your channel! Your voice is somewhat ASMR like
haha OK! Enjoy!

Drake Winters i completely agree his voice is satisfying af

One of my favorites as well. Easy to get apart accidentally, but you have to know the secret to reassemble it.
Exactly

I had a mental break down over this last night
I did this by accident at the bookstore and the guy who was working there told me that I had broken it. I wish I could have put it back together.
"Keep in mind that knowing the solution cannot be reversed!"
*C H A L L E N G E A C C E P T E D*
I actually came here because I got it years ago and forgot the solution
I got this apart once but couldn't re-assemble it XD
The solution was discovered by me as soon as I saw the target
Its the new main prop for the next Hellraiser movie 😉
Your voice is so relaxing
I thought the solution was spinning it and the inertia would do this same thing for you
Let's get him 420 likes
Thanks!
it has 69 lol
Now he has 6k likes
This puzzle was the only one I got seperated withing a few minutes. I was so dissapointed. The other ones from this serie it took me longer to solve.

The 5 Star Solution is acceptable
You can take it apart beginning from another position. But same concept/solution
I really like this One I’ve seen a different version of this one that had a pin in it and you Spin it between your two fingers, I like this one very much.
Is it just me or did you get the solution right away?
I can't even change bag in my vacuumcleaner wihtout reassembling it wrong
dont think this deserves the 5/6 stars, but still i want it!
I watch it because my brain gets numbed by his voice
Anyone else notice the fact that he appears to be speaking on the right side rather than your left or equally between the two
hi, is this puzzle any two and any three pieces, or you must use the two and three that you show? thanks for your work.
is there any way to purchase it in Romania?
Do u have other cool simple puzzle to recommand like the hayanama north south eaat west spin puzzle
I watched this video and I still can’t solve the damn puzzle... I bought mine in Japan is it possible the engraving is on a different piece???
How did you find this more difficult than that tube maze... You had to make a map and use mathematics lol
PSMTCHEF ikr..! I was wondering the same..
This one is very easy imo.. I almost figured it out by just looking both sides of it before the spoiler break.. smh
I like his videos but the ratings are all over the place!
What is easy for one person may not be so for another. Period.

look in the video description.
Prefer this over others because fits in pockets and makes for good bar bet. Looking like ufo metal intrigues goofy kids but is not toy looking to where adults can dismiss it as child's play.
Onde comprar esses brinquedos legais
Lol, how is it 5/6 the solution was my first thought how to do it, it would take me like 2mins to resolve this one...
1st thought, slide up down (think 3d)
My right ear liked the video
ok
L'abeille détraquée ok

Loli Oratoria ok
Yay i figured it out before he solved it
Löst du die eigentlich alle selbst, und wenn ja wie lange brauchst du so ?
Ja, wenn ich es nicht vergesse sage ich in den Videos nach der Lösung auch wie lange ich gebraucht habe.
The video starts at 4:00
The solution was the first thing I thought of when you shifted them around the first time. F
You pronounce the words ‘three’ and ‘with’ in a strange way. If you improve those 2 words your English is good and then you are a hero💪👌
Are you coming in his videos every month to coment shit about his way of talking.?? Serious? Don't you have a life?
I really hate people like you that can't be good at anything but always have to say something about the others. Shame...
That was the solution I was thinking. Lolz
The word you're looking for is "tapered".
5/6?????
