These are exactly the words I wish I had been able to pull together in my head to say to them in person when I was at the party last night. Instead I cheered & cried & hugged them when I got my chance, asking them to sign my book in the process. The one thing I was able to say was that I represented the thousands of fans who love them & appreciate what they do because they are awesome in so many ways. It was a night I will never forget!

I think in general when people hear "youtube personalities" they're instantly annoyed (I know I usually am), but I've been following their videos for a while and love them. I was so impressed with them and teared up when Kim realized they had won after finishing the last challenge.
How the $%#@ did you put that song together? One of the best parodies you've done! It captures all the adventures and fun you guys had, with tributes to the other players. I was THRILLED you won! And as some others have stated, it showed love, respect and a great sense of humor shined this season. I think The Amazing Race SHOULD hire you two now! Congratulations to a great win!!!
Oh, I think they had plenty of time to find the right song to parody and write it out. But getting the footage (especially the last legs) was a lot of work that was ongoing.
These segments are filmed before the season airs so they knew and they had time.
@@victoria7t Do you think the producers gave them footage before it aired on CBS? I am guessing Penn was up very late last night after the party putting together the footage from last night (and built the rest episode by episode). The lyrics he could have done ages ago.

My guess would be that they used Kim’s drawings to draft the parody, then filled in with the shows’ videos when the episodes aired. Terrific work.

I’ve never been happier for a team to win. Zero nastiness, zero cattiness, zero blaming, very genuine and excellent team work and support. I love that you acknowledged the ADHD and anxiety and worked through it. Because that’s what we do, we work through what is difficult for us and keep going, and even keep smiling (sometimes). This was the first amazing race where I saw no backstabbing. Everyone seemed so nice and it was refreshing. You both ran an awesome race. All the finalists were really awesome people.
Agreed. The first one where there wasn’t sabotage, and where I did t really dislike any of the contestants. Much better formula.

I'm don't know whether everybody was "nicer" than in past years, but there were no u-turns so much less incentive to back-stab each other. The question is, were u-turns dropped because of the abbreviated team list (and who knows, maybe a smaller location crew) due to COVID, or is it a permanent change? I did find this a much more enjoyable series to watch than the last couple seasons.
It was a really good race. Dusty was a bit intense but other than that it was great.

Agree. In the past I don’t like my littles kids to watch this show because how mean some couples, and family members are to each other- not acceptable in our home. I was so excited to show them this finale because of the 4 teams left. But Penn and Kim winning was better than I could imagine. I’m still in shock and still so happy!!!!
Please know that some of us our having the worst of times, ever. You guys are a ray of sunshine, pure joy, an escape, hope that things will get better, fun, laughter, sillyness... you are a balm to this broken soul. Please, please, please do not stop!

Congratulations on the win and for running such a great race, not only with regard to navigation and challenges, but in being true to yourselves--treating each other with dignity and respect. Yes yes! You said it so well! I was just telling my friend that this was probably THE most special season of The Amazing Race of all time, because of of the love that you all showed each other, with Kim and Penn leading the way on graciousness, kindness, humility, love and partnership. ❤
Never stop talking about yourselves or other things! Y'all are the best and helped make this game show loving and special. So cool when Penn called for camera crews to be shown and said roll credits. They should hire your entire family to be producers on the show!

I've never been so invested in a show before. It was like watching people you know and love triumph at something that has challenged them. So satisfying. SO proud.

We really wanted you to win! We love how supportive Penn is of Kim and wish she could take it in more. We love how Kim helps structure Penn and how he accepts her compliments so well. This was my favorite Amazing Race ever.

I was beyond excited for them, yelling and crying. My poor dog, probably was so confused. They deserved this and after 2+ years of life right now, all that yelling and crying felt so good to get it out. Finally my emotions were for pure joy. Congratulations!!!❤❤❤
My sentiments exactly on them representing us "old folks"! I bought a ticket to Lulu & Lala's live finale event event having no idea what to expect. To my thrilled surprise, I was part of a relatively small audience, so I was able to hug & congratulate them in person!! The only coherent words I could pull together when talking to them is that I represented the thousands of fans that appreciate them for sharing their authentic selves with us. It was an awsome experience to get to be a delegate of our tribe, cheering & celebrating & dancing with them, as well as many other racers from season 33!

I just finished watching the finale of the Race and I’m so thrilled to watch you two win! You guys and your hilarious videos kept me sane during the pandemic. So when I saw that you were on one of my favorite shows I got my hubby to watch for the first time. I’m so glad that Penn shared how his ADHD effects his life and was excited to hear you talk about the ADHD superpower of Hyper Focus and show people that ADHD doesn’t just make you forget where you put your phone and car keys every day (even though your wife has given you a special place for these items). I totally get that as my husband has ADHD with all the frustrating traits but also uses his Hyper Focus at his job as an RN at a state prison. As a retired elementary teacher, I had the same conversations with my students’ parents when they first learned their child had ADHD. I would tell them despite all the frustrating things they do, they will always keep the fun times rolling and will have that superpower as well. And Kim, do you think we Type A people are more likely to be the ones who fall in love with people with ADHD? I wonder if anyone has done research on that. Thank you both for helping to educate the public about ADHD and anxiety. You are both such wonderful examples of how awesome people are even with ADHD and with anxieties. Thank you for keeping it real as well as positive. And by the way, you think you were both struggling with your vision in your 40s, just wait till you hit your 60s- you’ll wish you could go back to your 40s again. I am your forever fans!

I had never seen an episode of Amazing race before and only watched this season because I heard you guys were in it. I watched the show last night and could hardly breathe. While I love all the other contestants, you both were always my first choice to win. When you ran through the tunnel, I was screaming and crying for you. I have to go back and rewatch the end because I was so emotional. You both were so kind and loving during the show that it was obvious that you inspired the rest of the teams. I started watching Amazing Race this year because you were on it. I got so invested that I actually cried when you won. Congratulations and thank you for being real, honest, caring humans and bringing anxiety and ADHD to the forefront (My husband has ADHD and I have Anxiety so this was really special for me to watch). Can't wait for the recap (although I don't know what I will do now that I don't have the show and recap weekly).
I literally started weeping when you got it and started running through the tunnel. I had never watched the show before and did to root you both on. What an incredible journey! I was fortunate enough to be at Lulu & Lala's finale event last night & celebrate with them in person! I am just a regular who watched for the same reason you did. It was the thrill of a lifetime to get to hug them & say I represent thousands of people who love & appreciate them for who they are & what they do. The best part was that they seemed to actually understand how sincerely I meant this & how packed that room would have been if we all could have squeezed I to it.

I’ve watched so many seasons of The Amazing Race, but this one was one of my absolute favourites, and I don’t think I’ve ever smiled as much for a winning couple as when you guys crossed the finish line. Your good humour, genuineness and good grace as you ran the race was so refreshing to watch. I hope it serves as a model for future contestants. Congratulations and I wish you well.
I've been a fan of the race for 20 years. When you guys announced you're going to be on the race, I was ridiculously excited. I found you guys in March of 2020 right when the pandemic really exploded in the States. Your videos and your sense of humor really helped me cope.
Watching you guys compete was so stressful. Like Kim, I have very bad anxiety and I actually could not watch the show until the week before the final episode for fear of you guys getting knocked out of the race.
After 2 years of watching your parodies and your originals and your skits, sharing them with my family and friends, and then watching you guys race made it feel like I was watching a member of my family competing. My husband even said he has never been so invested in the race before; He usually just kind of half watches it if I have it on but he sat down and watched the entire season because you guys were in it.
I'm so proud of you and what you accomplished. I've always talked about wanting to go on the race myself, but with every passing year I feel like I'm starting to get too old to do it. And now, you're proof positive that that's not true.

We had a busy week and had to wait until Sunday night to see the finale. I was Team Kim and Penn the whole way. You two were grace under pressure, always encouraging one another, no crazy stress fights. Through maggots and rocks and a huge leap of faith, you held your focus and good attitudes and just kept going. You seemed to be friends with all the teams and that was something. When COVID started we each started to watch your videos and than when we heard that you will be on the Amazing Race we were all in the Kim/Penn bandwagon. We watched every week to cheered and this was the first Amazing Race finale where we actually yelled out loud when you cross the finished line!

Wow! How did I miss the season?!!? From the recaps posted on UA-cam in the short format I had not seen that you guys made it to the end. Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you and yours! It also got me teary-eyed to see that someone like us made it and used their super powers like we do in our day-to-day jobs. Thank you for being such a great example and pushing through. I’m going to see how I can go back and watch all the episodes in full because just a little bit that I watched in the recaps, and in this video, I can see how much fun and wonderful this experience must’ve been for all of you.

Loved when, as you were running across the stadium field, without missing a step or slowing down, you dropped backpacks and clasped each other's hands! Awesome! Says soooo much about your relationship -- let go of what's no longer needed, and hold onto your beloved right through to the very end! It's how we all need to live our lives in this crazy world!

Your love and respect for each other and your fellow competitors (friends) is infectious. While watching TAR, I realized something about you guys that I had not before. You have an incredible ability to make people feel like they are your good friend. I've watched the show for years. But this season it was like "wow, my friends are on TAR!" I know we've never met, but I still feel like we are friends. And that was the best season of TAR yet!

OMG, last I was crying and shaking, I couldn't believe how emotional your win made me. I couldn't be happier for you guys!! I’ve watched this so many times & still get excited at the end. Kim steadily paddling while Penn pushes in his hernia has got to be one the funniest & most middle aged couple things I’ve ever seen. 🤣 Congratulations!
Now we need the Target Husbands playing poker in the van and someone's says "hey, did any of you watch The Amazing Race last night?" and someone says yeah - can you imagine actually DOING that thing? - and as a MARRIED COUPLE? And they all look at their watches and then each other and burst out laughing. 😁 "How long have we been here? Are we ever even going to SEE our wives again?"
And then maybe a quick cut to Kim inside Target as she picks up a wine bottle (or something), reads the label and says outloud "huh - Lugano", and then looks away with a thoughtful, wistful look in her eyes.... 🤔😁
And a cut to Heidi who looks up from the scented candles directly into the camera and says "I have 3 kids under 6 years old - I ALREADY run the Amazing Race - every day!" 😁
And then Penn - "wait a second - we DID run the Amazing Race! And we WON! - WHAT IS SHE DOING IN THERE?!?!" That should be one of the legs or challenges for the married couples - shopping at Target. (And then, to even out the gender biased challenge, add running an errand at Fleet Farm for the men).

I'm so proud of you both. I've never watched the Amazing Race before because what I've seen is all just couples fighting and yelling at each other. With you two, there was so much love and kindness throughout. I thought right in the beginning that you wouldn't win, as you would be kind to another team, and then lose. I'm so glad I was wrong about that. It's good to see kindness and love won.
And Penn's celebration dances were just pure joy!

Penn and Kim. As a fost/adopt mom of 10 (a few with disabilities) I have used your Amazing Race experience to help me through some really challenging times. Amazing Race has always been (without spending a ton of time I don't have thinking about it) in my top 3 shows, probably #1. You guys and your friends have made this season in my top 3 seasons (same reason) maybe even #1. I love how you embrace your differences and have found the facets that have made you stronger. At 56 with children ages 25-6, I have let the AMAZING RACE dream go and have lived vicariously through you. Thanks so much for your transparency and your ability to just be real! Keep up the amazing, wonderful, and admittedly weird lives you live! Oh, Congratulations!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!! My husband and I only watched because we love you guys so much and my heart was POUNDING towards the end because it just had to be you guys, but it was so close!!!! Hope you're all having so much fun right now!!!! You guys worked so well together and Kim....dang....that jump...oy🤦🏼♀️ makes my stomach flip just thinking about it and you were amazing and your hubby was so cute about it :) But also, as someone with severe ptsd and anxiety disorder, gosh...I literally have hives popping up....so it was really awesome to watch you handle it all, and that it was normal to get frustrated, or to cry cuz you miss your kids or just be tired....and you guys did it with such grace and fun....just awesome!!! My family and I have been watching you guys for several years and it was an absolute joy watching you guys, not only participate in this race, but also win this race! I loved what you said about middle aged moms and dads, as that is what we are. My hubby is 51 and I am 47 and not to mention we are also really awesome match that communicates well. It was fun chatting about which sections we would have been able to do and which ones we probably would have had challenges. You guys inspired us to see ourselves in you and remember that we can do a lot of good SH*t still! Thank you for being our heros! I just got a membership to a gym and we started hiking again to start to get into shape! Thank you for your love and light that you shine so frickin' brightly! I keep watching this because there's so much crammed into all those clips, not to mention the super fast lyrics. TAR should definitely hire you to do something similar to recap every season! Coming down to the final challenge, I was trying not to be too bummed watching the finale because it looked like you guys were going to come in second but then all that note-taking and studying really paid off.
