My mom played this song in the late 1970s when she was in high school. She still remembers its name despite being 63 now and not having played it in like 45 years lol
One of the great pieces for concert band. Used first half as a contest warmup, playing the whole thing every 3 or 4 years. My end of year 7th would beg to play it if it was done by the 8th during that school year. You can teach SO much MUSICALITY by doing this piece. Kudos Mr. Erickson.
