Just got my 2100 a few days ago, absolutely LOVE it. Indeed, if you want to rely on it for a stopwatch the display is tiny. But it is just great looking and so nice and light I love it. I had thought I wanted the normal blacked out variant but frankly, these are so much more interesting.

Has your strap yellowed in any way?
@@sufyanpatel9706Yup, by default it seems to happen. It isn't crazy by any stretch but it wouldn't be the shiny out of the box crystal look. That said, I have never seen another one on a wrist so I think its kinda special regardless.
This jelly (and so transparent) models are not my cup of tea, but they may suit for the younger generations 😃. Great video, as always!

Do these turn yellow with time?
So cool looking I just got the 2339 model for $50
I went out and got all 3. Will try to minimize exposure to UV as much as I can. Hopefully that will prolong the transpancy as much as possible.
But I do want to show these beauties off during the summer. Maybe I can pick up extra straps for them, then no need to worry 👍

The transparent look is cute, especially the square one, but the seems hard to read
My camera makes it look a little worse than it is but it is a little tougher to read than a regular display for sure.
These seem great if you want to go to the beach with a watch and don't want to get a watch tan line.

To everyone considering buying it. Please don’t. Save your money. They get Yellow very fast and it’s ugly as hell once it lose it’s transparent look. Not covered by warranty btw.
Just love the transparent look. There should be these for every watch. My beef, is the negative display. Got to be a pain to video, and even worse to read. A real -ve...........see what I done there. More puns.

GA 700SKE i have..
I'd be worried about them going yellow in a couple of months after purchase. Otherwise, they look cool.
Wouldn't surprise me if they did. Some sun and ocean or pool water and probably wouldn't take long.
The only reason I'm not getting one. Even if it doesn't yellow like some vintage Jordans, it will be a pain to keep clean.

Just got the GA700SKW-7A, however mine is the latest version with a darker grey transparent band..Really cool watch but the LED light SUCKS.

I'm worried about the watch yellowing over time, and not being able to clean it.
I've heard from a few people that it has happened. Probably depends on how much it's exposed to the sun and things like chlorine water.

Oh they get yellowish very quick trust me. Mine looks like someone has piss all over it.. if only I knew before buying. Bad engineering from Casio. It’s dumb to built a summer watch like that, if it can’t survive 1 week of it.

Knew I was forgetting something. Unfortunately the cases don't light up. Just the usual illumination on all 3.

Hard to say. I've seen pictures of an older model, I think it was a Frogman that turned a little yellow over time. Possible they're using a material more resilient to that but not sure.

My clear one turned yellow after 3 months. Don't waste your money as it's not covered by the warranty. Waste of money.

@SteeveMroy I think you'd be able to find an aftermarket strap for it but haven't replaced any Gshock straps myself so not sure the best place to get them.

There's a nice Bhutan Gshock I came across and there's a nice transparent g shock I like to , so I buy both. I rather buy 50 gshocks then one Rolex.

I do a lot of work with my hands. They can be a little rough sometimes.
This one's not for me. They remind me of plastic shoes the girls used to wear in my youth.
