- This is some of the highlights of the intense foot massage that I did on Skyler in Tauranga, New Zealand in 2019. Skyler was only 16 at the time so you have to give him full credit for handling the intensity of the foot massage. He was keen to remove the tension and trauma that was stored in his body and he did very well.

I have tried this kinda massage. The spa I went to named it Deep therapy foot massage. I didn't care about the 'deep' part I was focused on the 'therapy' part hahaha. So I was like xpecting a super relaxing kinda massage. Maybe it depends on your overall condition how painful it gets. I was flat footed and I was overweight. THE PAIN IS NO JOKE. IT WAS EXCRUCIATING. E-X-C-R-U-C-I-A-T-I-N-G. The therapist was like 'no mercy' all throughout the session. She's telling me stuff but my mind was like sooo focus on the pain I'm in lols. Next thing I realized my tears are falling and I'm like doing this kinda breathing for women who are about to give birth. That 45 mins of pain was worth it though. After a day or two it felt different in a good way. I dunno how to describe it exactly. Decided to have this kinda massage regularly since then until pandemic hits the world.

I have played sports (Tennis, gymnastics, running) and the tendons of my feet are tight and super sensitive. This type of vigorous massage would make me weep 😢

Trust me its painful but its worth it. Those points are connected to the main organs. If it is painful there are stresses going on to such organs. The pressure helps blood circulation and relax those area.
I’ve been a regular with this therapy for my insomnia and body stresses due to work and it actually work. But now Im studying and practicing this and started to help others to relieve from stress. But once a client felt so much pain in just slight press, there must be a serious issue connected to such joints and organs

As someone who has regular massage (had ones like this also) I find it unnecessary if we dont have any urgent problem to fix. If it only to get rid of stiffness or thightness, other “softer” way will work too.

I know it's not the same, but I've done some self massage, very firm (like hurts like heck), but it alleviates some of the pain since I've always had problems with plantar fasciitis, and being on my feet all day at work takes a toll on my feet.

They arent always screaming in pain. Sometimes its trapped emotional energy leaving their body and psyche. I feel very happy for them that they are able to release these painful energies stored in their body. I think wow what lucky people to be freed from this tension and trauma. Sometimes i get a bit jealous and wish it was me getting rid of my trauma but i try and control those thoughts and focus on helping them to the best of my ability.
