This is hands down one of the best videos i have come across. I am a blind massage therapist and many videos are useless to me because they are vague in their descriptions of what is being done. Your use of medical terminology and specific descriptions of what you are dong makes it possible for me to follow along. Thank you. Subscribing and will be recommending your channel to my blind therapist friends
This really helped my mom. She is always wanting my to massage her feet. I wanted to do better so I looked at this video and she said are you learning from this video Thank you ❤❤❤❤
Dude same, literally just used it on my mom and she was like all that massaging your gfs feet finally paid off huh😂 little does she know I have Mike to thank XD
This always feels so good after a long day outside. Thank you for the tips. By the way do you have any more tricks for working around the achilles and the lower leg?
PHENOMENAL MASSAGE ROUTINE!!!❤ i am a therapist and love getting my feet done and doing them. Always looking to up my game and improve my techniques!! THANK YOU!!
Very innovative tips on how to approach massaging the feet 👌🏾I appreciate you sharing this so we can give some TLC to this often neglected part of the body. Thank you 🧡
It does give me some ideas Mike. I was recently taken off prescribed Statins. My foot neuropathy disappeared. Also, my left hand and Tremors and some infrequent bouts with lose bowels. It is all gone now. I think I need good foot massage just to get the circulation going again. Thank you sir!
thank you!! havent finished the video yet but will def try this on my mom 🥰 She is a caregiver for the elderly so she is on her feet all day and with your tips i can hopefully take good care of her (and her feet😀) as well!! Oh and my mom doesnt have flat feet but ive been wondering if there is anything you would need to look out for ?
These techniques will be safe, just exercise caution doing the mobilizations, if you choose to use them. I’ll make some more foot related videos in the future and get into it more!
This is so fantastic 👏 i told my boss that i know how to massage yet i know nothing😅 so am here learning some tips to help me and am sure he will be more happier than today, Thank you so much
The Tibia is a very strong bone and the location of the pressure is directly over the anteromedial aspect where there is very few structures between the bone and skin. Very unlikely you will cause any damage or pain applying pressure here.
I know I’m late to the party, but I’ve got to say what a great well explained and video , I’m learning reflexology and this such a help when it come to foot massage, thanks
Yes I’ll have to remember this about the sciatic nerve. I never used to get sciatic pain at all, then a few years ago when I had my daughter, about a week before she was due to be born I started to get sciatic pain shooting down my leg. What’s so odd is that now, even 6 years down the line, I don’t suffer with sciatic pain, except once a month when I have my period. It’s as if my body thinks it’s back to the time when a baby was in there pressing on nerves. As soon as my period is over with, the sciatic pain goes away until the next month.
Could anyone elaborate on how the Achilles tendon release is supposed to work? My partner complained that it didn't feel good on her skin, because there was a feeling of friction from the pressure I was using. I guess I've gotta lighten way up.
Let me know if you have questions! Hopefully this gives you some ideas 💡
I want to do that 4 my girlfriend so much

My dad fell a sleep wright when I started massaging
Do I need my palm ✋ to be soft in order to massage a loved one??

From where would the adhesions come if there has not been any cuts/surgeties? PVEL.
Adhesions can develop during the healing process of any tissue damage. No just cuts or surgeries.
Good techniques for foot massages.

My foot still is hurting since I sprained it. What exercises could I do to maybe lessen or be free of that pain?
Hot and cold baths. Light strengthening and slowly build up stability around the joint

I like to educate, but you can also just mute it and put your own music or silence over it

Thanks for great video. my question: between minutes 5:09 -5:36, pressing directly on tibia - is that safe?
The Tibia is a very strong bone and the location of the pressure is directly over the anteromedial aspect where there is very few structures between the bone and skin. Very unlikely you will cause any damage or pain applying pressure here.

Apply a little oil or lotion, but not too much, just enough to reduce friction a little. Some friction is required tho. Try to find the right balance.
