- In this Korg WaveState Tutorial I show you how to create a Setlist and program the Favourite or Bank Buttons - on the Hardware Wavestate itself and with the Editor Librarian.

As a shortcut, holding write + A1-D16 buttons at the same time stores the current program into a set list (same way as write + layer button stores a program and write + lane button stores a lane)

Thanks for the content, very useful.
You also save all the patches into one performance and organise the mod knobs to switch between sounds. How do you do this? For example, in "Big In Japan", you switch between sounds flawlessly with the knobs.
Another question, is it possible to remove the drums from the performance? I would like to use your libraries with my band and I don't need drums or bass sounds,
How easy to remove drums, basses from the performance?
In the sample lane you can assign the start/end and loop start/end points to the mod knobs.
The drums you could mute by just deactivating the drum layer or turning down the volume of the drum sample blocks in the sample lane to zero.
The same with the bass sounds.
I afraid downloading voices end effects will end up in deleting the original presets

Not really. I must admit I was never really deep into their music.
Another question. For your sounds, you use only the wavestate ? Or sequence and samples from another synth ?
I always sample a lot of my old analog synths for my soundsets

Hi Maik.Good morning. I ordered the Korg Wavestate. I already had the plugin.
I use Cubase, and my computer music knowledge is limited.
That's why I wanted to ask you if I need the plugin to create tracks with different sounds when using Cubase, or if I can use the keyboard alone.

Hi Chris, you can use the keyboard as well. Just use separate midi channels to Adress the different Layers on the hardware WS and that's it.

Hello. Is it possible to download presets from wavestate native to wavestate hardware? What synths you may reccomend as all in one like wavestate for late 80s sounds? As i can hear, wavestate have quiet a modern painting
If you mean factory presets - they are the same as in the hardware as far as I know. But you can share them with the export/import function.
For late 80sounds the Korg Modwave is a killer synth. Like always it depends on what you feed the synth with.
@@MaikSchott i still thinking about buying wavestate, so i don`t know if presets are the same. i just know that there are many of libraries for native vst and would like to know is it possible to share it with hardware version. Thank you for suggestion about modwave
@les7118 hardware WaveState and Native plugin are 100% compatible.

Actually the topic of synthesizers is new to me. I love Clan of Xymox much, especially the "Medusa" and "Twist of Shadows" albums and want something not very hard to use what can sound similar to synths on this albums an suitable for live perfomances with drum machine controlled by me and guitarist ( actually, your advice about drummachine with possibility to download own samples would also be great. I think model samples is too versatile for my tasks, and digitakt out of budget.)

It's a problem not being able to put multiple banks in Wavestate. This requires buying the VST
You can put multiple banks into WS - you just have to merge them!
