Take care and shoot straight
I will chose the perfection without hesitation !!
I hear you Jim I need some sort of feeling in my bows as well. Also I'm just a bow hunter and need some weight in my bow. So I went the 29" satori riser black wolf limbs. Could not be happier.
I think Jim's become addicted to bow shock. Sad.
The win and win is the sexiest, lightest and most accurate, but I choose the less quality Hoyt. Cognitive dissonance at its finest.
I reckon of I bought the Hoyt every time i saw a W&W I would be gripped by regret!
Great review. Loved the thorough analysis of each bow. Looking forward to the next video :)
I really like how Merlin doesn't seem to censor you, they let you be very candid.
I liked your original archery adventures, but now I absolutely love your merlin adventures. Only because you have to compensate. hope you understand that........... cheers from Korea!
oh man, am i relieved! :D
Very good comparison. It is good to get feedback.
I feel you however perfection is the soul...IMO that is the goal...I do understand you thought...I ride moto bikes and feel as you do about the bow however when it comes to bows I love my W&W Black....
This is a general question Jim - is a short "field" type riser any advantage other than looking good??? I am looking to replace my 30 year old compound bow and NFAS is what I am looking to progress into, with a recurve.
What draw weight are you shooting at? I own a buffalo and i cant believe how slow yours is. I dont shoot 3D or anything like that... i hunt big game. So i set the bow up to be quiet and hit hard. With fastflight strings and 56# draw, i chrono around 180... and thats with a 630 grain arrow. Granted im a 31 1/2” draw so my power stroke is longer than almost everybody but still.
No soul because, neither of them are wood ;)
Would a Buffalo grip fit on the Black Wolf riser?
I love the look of the Win&Win, but they are not available in Left-Handed it seems
Great vid, mate!
Having used Hoyt Buffalo for a year or so, I can say with good bit of pride that it's a sexy to fire and watch bow.
Maybe this good feeling when you shot come because the hoyt is formula ilf, the rcx is ilf...and a correction, hoyt buffalo is "real" 60", 62" and 64" limbs...not 58" e etc.
If he wasn't shooting 30 to 35 pounds. The black wolf would be more than 10 ft per second faster. I've seen reviews at 45 and 50 pounds.
