It’s amazing hearing someone talk about matters like severe mental illness, substance abuse and addiction, and a chaotic/destructive lifestyle so calmly, intelligently, and informatively. Keep raising awareness about addiction and mental health problems. I’m an 18 year old alcoholic with 1.5 months in sobriety and I was so inspired by this. Truly a phenomenal story told by a phenomenal person. Thank you for sharing your story

You start with yourself and the diagnosis you got at age 14. But we know that diagnosis arises from trauma. And you arent supposed to be diagnosed before age 18!

One side-note: you keep talking about you having diseases and one of them is addiction. How were you (cap)able to CHOOSE another way of life if you had / have a disease ?

Just like anyone else that manages a chronic, lifelong illness. If you have diabetes or heart disease, you try to eat better, exercise, meditate, utilize life-saving medicine, etc. If you're suffering from addiction, you try to abstain from your drug of choice by having a good support system, working a program, avoiding triggers, therapy, etc. Medication Assisted Therapy has been an option that more people are trying and if you're ready to begin the recovery process, it can totally turn your life around for the better. I think with the opioid epidemic affecting so many, more people are beginning to understand how devastating addiction is. It's a lifelong battle.

Girlfriend, if you have Jesus, you don’t need yoga and you don’t need New Age meditation techniques. Please please complete put the icing on the cake of your healing and deliverance by going to Jesus alone, and throwing out that new age crap. Believe me, you will be grateful that you read this text and hated it. Jesus alone is your salvation and deliverance. Jesus alone has set you free. Please please shut the door on the demonic activity that comes through from being yoked with witches yoga, with demonic entities, and open your heart fully, and completely to the God that fills you all in all. Find peace beautiful. You are so worthy of it. 41:42
