But catch him without his signature flat-bill hat and you'll realize that hidden underneath the youthful apparel is a 40-year-old man who has struggled with hair loss since his early 20s.
Alex heard about a job opening at Hairline Ink in 2017 through a friend and was quickly brought onboard as our Bilingual Client Support Specialist. After helping so many people go through the process of SMP, he decided to get his very own scalp micropigmentation treatment.

That looks amazing! I've had hair transplants and done the finasteride/rogaine thing for a while, and it was great, definitely improved my appearance, life and confidence. But the finasteride doesn't work forever, and you can only get 2-3 transplants until you run out of hair. This will be my next step, my final step .

I noticed that the head still shines when light is atop. Is this true or is it bad as angle...does the shiny head remain even with smp?

I appreciate all approaches to dealing with hair loss, including getting Scalp Micropigmentation.
I love headwear (hats,caps, head scarves, etc...) so I'm always going to come to its defense.
My channel provides an alternative solution to the commonly suggested solutions for hair loss. My aim is to help people who share my perspective that headwear being worn in a manner where you treat it as being your hair, is an excellent solution for hair loss. Perhaps, if enough of us headwear lovers or supporters who have hair loss (and even headwear lovers or supporters who have a full head of hair) take action, we can change how society treats headwear, and achieve the goal of being allowed to wear our headwear in all the places where headwear is currently banned; and instead, finally have society recognize, and thus, accept our headwear as being our hair.
I'd like to live in a world where someone wearing headwear is treated no differently than someone who isn't wearing headwear; meaning that anyone can wear headwear in ID photos, court rooms, formal establishments, etc...(not just those with a special exemption) and where it's no longer considered rude to wear headwear indoors, or at an event while the National anthem is playing, for example.

Dots are 4 to 6 times bigger than his hair follicle, a normal ok vision person can clearly see if you pause 3:28. Also See 8:14 to 8:21 and 8:34 to 8:37. Also all that blood at 8:34 and 9:13, ... Clearly going under the dermis causing tissue damage thats why its bleeding. I feel this company is inexperienced just from seeing the dot size and too much blood. You want to go in the dermis NOT below the dermis which is the tissue which is causing all the bleeding.

I have had this done myself & this result shown here is very good, as is my own. If anyone is seriously considering undergoing micro pigmentation the key to getting a realistic look is to get a very, very light fade especially if you are light skinned like myself & w/o a doubt do your research. You want to see the artists actual clients, not the best procedures from their site.. Good luck :D

You have to shave your head every other day. Otherwise the hairs will grow while the ink will not.

I got mine done and I still wear hats especially at the gym. My head is shiny like yours and I hate it. The SMP only looks good in dim lighting but in bright fluorescent lightning like at the gym, it’s not visible

Chucho Yema I paid 3k. I’d say it’s worth it still cause in dim lighting you have a hairline that’s visible. Only thing that sucks is under bright lighting or the sun, the smp isn’t visible and if you have a shiny oily head, it’s even worse

Not everyone is a candidate due to donor area thickness/density availability. You almost never get a full head of hair back. You will have either a strip scar or micro scars from FUE. You will have initial implanted hair that will fall out and sprout new hair and this process takes at least a year. HT are not always better as there are many many cons to it and I didn't even mention you depleted hair from your donor section and if you lose more you are going to be in bad shape. CONS of SMP is that it's not real hair. People may ask you why you don't grow it out b/c it looks like you have a full head of hair. Some extreme bright lights it still looks like you are bald but I think that goes for people with real #1 shaved heads so I'm not sure about that. You have to limit sunlight exposure to a certain extent but sunblock, etc helps. You have to pay a very small amount to get it touched up every 4-6 years. I'd say if you can afford the downtime and have excellent donor area and are 40 or and a NW3 go for HT. SO many people just assume everyone can just get a HT.. they are wrong in so many ways.
go to turkey they will offer you good result and dirt cheap price .now refering to your donor area, not alot of people are candidate for HT true. BUT there is body hair and beard hair with this new technique they can mix head, and body hair and you can at least get a great cover up its true you will have to MAINTAIN your existing hair with rogaine , biotin but the implanted hairs are permanent (so you dont need any monoxidle in that area ) also it all depends on the doctor and how he implants the follicles ..1,follicles..2 ,3,or 4 follicles grow is a very important for the patient and how it will look over the years specially if he continues to loose hair this technique they use to implant the hair Is very important and choose your doctor wisely.. which mostly are in turkey.... im not bashing SMP...but for looks hair always the key ..specially for the ladies @@toddk4115
also wanted to add you can NEVER get a FULL head of hair with HT ... BUT.. it can damn well give you a very nice illusion to have a nice decent amount ..specially if you use hair fibers etc..

Bc he was bald to begin with. Smp looks best for people who still have some hair on top and are thinning. If you have receding hairline but fair amount on top but it’s only thinned out a receding hairline can be worked on and blended into ur existing hair. But if u are completely bald it will look very fake…
