- Madyn was only 18 months old when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. She immediately began treatment at Valley Children’s Hospital, the only pediatric provider of in-depth, inpatient and outpatient cancer services in Central California.
Madyn is one of more than 120 children diagnosed with cancer each year in this region.

I had acute lymphoblastic leukemia too and had a little hospital friend, she was 1 and a half years old. We were best friends, we had our chemo together and had so much fun. Family, friends, doctors and nurses are so important for kids that are fighting cancer, I wouldn't have survived if it wasn't for them

My 3 year old son was diagnosed with All leukemia last week but one,, it's overwhelming,I feel weak .I just pray that may God grant us strength.
My 3 year old daughter was diagnosed with the same in October were in the consolidation phase of chemo right now, it’s tough but just take it a day at a time. Hopefully you have some help with family and I wish you and your boy luck!

Out of all the leukemia's this one is the most curable! Except myloid we are at 90% in 2016. Thanks to hospitals like this one where research is conducted and they are able to really collect so much info that they can come up with protocols that work! This is great that Madyn's life was saved because they were able to give the best treatment plan possible! Now that we are at 90% with most Leukemia's they need to put the focus and money and research in areas that need it most like Myeloid Leukemia's then from there sarcomas and blastomas.

You are so lucky but here in our state they don't know any cure for my baby girl and we lost her at the age of 2years,it took only one and half day we stayed at the cancer hospital and she passed away
