Which given the lack of light down there, her black attire would've been an apt choice! Although... 🤔 That might be WHY she went with colors! Up on the surface, blacks and greys are "rebellious"; therefore, a rebellious trench dweller would wear colors, since pitch black would be the "norm"! 🤯
if i was not a kindergarten teacher but a high school teacher in science this would be SUCH a fun project for biology!! having students pitching different regions and biospheres as prime real estate areas would produce some hilarious results. thank you so much for this!! i plan on showing other teachers!
It’s possible to adapt this for Kindergarten! I just did something sort of similar for African (land) biomes with K\1st grade this week! (I do have more freedom than classroom teachers-your biggest problem would be time and freedom.) If you were nearby, I’d loan you my “Water Animals and Biomes” teacher bag which includes an awesome 3D book by DK that has an amazing two page pop-up scene for each ocean biome-there’s a pop-up scene for the intertidal zone, a pop-up scene for “black smokers,” etc. We had so much fun exploring African biomes-let me know if you want more info.
In my high school economics class, we were supposed to come up with a business. I convinced my group that a underwater biosphere casino in the middle of the Atlantic would be the perfect venue and then we tried to convince the other groups to build their businesses there. 😂 The plans called for a surface loading platform with a very looong elevator (a clear one 😁 ) to the bottom.

I moved to Mariana Trench a few years ago and so far the experience was great! I get to enjoy the solitude and whenever I am hungry, all I need to do is to use a flashlight and the food will serve itself on the plate. The neighbours sometimes can be freaky, but being in the dark is quite beneficial, since I do not see their faces most of the time. My only complaint is the lack of pubs, you will hate it here if your happiness is at the bottom of the bottle. Also, sea pigs always touch my feet, idk what's up with that, but I do not judge.
It is wild to know that James Cameron made the movie Abyss 35 years ago. Which is partly about a man making the deepest seadive in a liquid oxygen breathing tank to sacrifice himself to save the world. Or his wife. I think it was like 20,000 feet deep though. But then years later James almost doubled that all fictional story all by himself. Thats pretty amazing. Imagine writing a great story about going to the moon and then using that money from that story to go Mars. Lol
Freaking awesome show! Love the realty vehicle, the irony sarcasm all of it. Thanks for the extra effort. You know, beyond all the studying and working
