- "A World Without Love" is a song recorded by the English duo Peter and Gordon and released as their first single in February 1964, reaching number one in the UK Singles Chart in April. The song was written by Paul McCartney[1] and attributed to Lennon/McCartney. The B-side was "If I Were You" written by Peter and Gordon. In June 1964, "A World Without Love" topped the Billboard Hot 100 in the US. It also reached number one on the Cash Box chart in the U.S. for one week. It was included on the duo's debut album in the UK, and in the US on an album of the same name. It is one of two songs written by Lennon/McCartney to reach number one in the US by an artist other than the Beatles. (WIKI)
It's definitely a very lovely cover.for this timely Peter and Gordon classic.Your vocal is also gentle enough to make your cover click.
Just found out a couple of days ago that this song was written by a young Paul McCartney. After that when I listen to it I can definitely hear that Paul McCartney vibe.
this guy has good timing and sings well enough to make it convincing. Nice !
Thank. Lovely song. Love her.
Yeah, I gotta agree.......best utube cover of this song.
Excelente cover magnífico 👍
Gracias mil..
Wonderful! 👍Awesome on many levels. Thanx!😃
Very good cover version. My favorite guitar. The Rickenbacker.

mastered, beautiful sir.
verry nice sound! thanks
That really sounded great! Flawless and love the Rickenbacker for the 12 string portion!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!! I don't recognize that guy anymore.
Greetings from New Jersey, you created a great cover, thank you from all of us.
Thanks so much!
Very well covered :-))
a lovely cover of a classic song....^/^
I like it a lot, good show mate.
Thank you very much. So much enjoyed.
I LIKE you cover.
Best regards from Moscow,
"SUPERB" Amazing cover, the music & vocals are outstanding, very well done to you my friend for this magnificent cover, thumbs up from Foxy!!.....
Great video, and awesome choice in instruments, gotta love the Rickenbacker 360/12 sound, beautiful and very unique to the Rickenbacker guitar. Pair the "Ric" with a Hiwatt or Vox amp with the wonderful KT-88 tubes and feel the warm tones sooth your inner soul.
Thanks for sharing!
Kind regards, Eric Dee.
I don't think Vox used KT 88 tubes. Maybe Hiwatt did. Marshall used them in early amps.
@@harveycan5820 I believe Vox used EL-34's.
Excelente trabajo 👍🏼🇲🇽
I can't get over the fact that you only have a thousand views, amazing quality performance and recording, exactly Peter and Gordon style. Wondering why Paul didn't like this song enough to release it with the Beatles, I think it's one of his best works...
John rejected it. Paul tried to pitch it to him, but John didn't like it.
very nice rendition
Great work!! Greetings!
Thanks!!!!!!!!!
soo good man! sounds crisp and clean.
Nice work, thanks.
I have heard a few good covers of this Peter and Gordon song. Yours is the best !!! Its going in my favorites !! Nice job Julio !!! John
Wonderful job :)
Well done!
It's because you heard only the old version, Peter & Gordon had "A World Without Love" with guitar lead solo.
awesome....
You've done a particularly nice job on this one... nice bass tone too.
❤️👌🏻
Hi , nice effort ! , I 'm going to have a go at this song as well - your video is good too .
Keep it up !!!
Well done
cool : )
Very good job.Believe they used a Vox 12 string
For a long time i thought they used a 12 string richenbocker. But i read a lead guitarist was used by peter and Gordon, his name : vic flick snd he was said to have used a 12 string vox electric guitar.
Nice variant. Though.
Loved it.
And i liked that you listed the instruments.
I did not know it was written by Paul McCartney? Can you give any info. On the Beatles tune, DO YOU WANT TO KNOW A SCRET? My favorite Beatles tune.
Je, je. Acabo de grabar una canción en la que un amiguete ha incluído un sonido de órgano Vox que suena exactamente igual que éste.
Como productor, Peter Asher es uno de mis referentes en los setenta.
Thanks for this excellent video ... Great job all around! I have listened several times and will probably be back again. What is the guitar that cuts in at 2:37?
All the best, James
Agile Guitar from Rondo music. Has a bit of a Ric shape
Great ... Thanks for the info!
I quickly noticed towards the end another guitar used. What was it?
That would now be a bass, an acoustic, a 12 string rickenbocker and that mystery guitar.
Nice cover, Mr Garcia. I do wish you had turned your guitar up a little for the solo. Thanks for posting!
@JGarcia658 Hey thanks really good of you, i would'nt mind trying this one in the future if you could send me the mp3 but i have to say your vocals & guitar work are second to none, you capture the essence of the sixties in your music, i also really enjoy your Kinks covers, wish i was there with you singing, your place looks great "keep on rockin" Foxy!!....
Very nice, I play a Rickenbacker 360/12V64.
Me too. Much better than the regular 360-12 with R tailpiece. Ever try to change the strings with one of those? Nightmare!
What was the 6 string electric lead guitar?
When you doubted a 12 string Rickenbacker you were right.
Peter and Gordon hired Vic Flick as lead guitarist.
Vic's instrument was said to be a Vox Tempest XII 12 String electric guitar.
If you rerecord this tune, replace the 12 string Rick with a 12 string Vox Tempest .
I think you will nail it completely.

can u make a cover by The Beatles version?
2:12 big Ben!
My opinion is - your cover is the best in NET.
Once more, thank you very much.
I just finished my cover of this song. If you are not against I send video response.
Very much appreciate your opinion. Best regards,
Песня навеки?
It’s was written by McCartney
Take it fro a fellow musician..... not bad, not bad at all.
Len Larrisey I am humbled by your words.
a 10 for the instruments. an 8 for the vocals (sorry) and about a 1.5 for the video editing. seriously.
Great McCartney composition - as for Peter & Gordon ..... complete nobodies. Any artist(s) could have covered it and it would have been a success. All down to songwriting talent - McCartney's !
Sir PAUL на хрена нужно было эту цимус - песню отдавать ,,,,родственнику ,,,?
