    I always use pumice stone on my feet! The foot lotion that I use is from the True blue spa from bath and body works the glycol acid cracked heel treatment and is only $20 for 10 oz. I live in South Florida and living in shorts in sandals all yr can also take a toll on your feet, but I swear by this foot cream.

      Jenna Almeida yeah you soak your feet in it for about 10 minutes-I usually paint my nails when I soak my feet; get a big plastic bowl from the dollar store! CAUTION: DON'T GET THE BRIGHT BLUE LISTERINE IF YOU HAVE PALE SKIN. It will dye your feet a light blue!

    this totally works. Love your tip Tuesdays!
    Save your money and don't but expensive lotions. Instead buy the store brand with no extras like lotions or creams because those have less acid which is what helps repair the skin. I actually put petrolium jelly or nonpetrolium jelly. Even the one from the dollar store works. In just 2-3 days you'll see a difference.

    Very nice tip,at night after a shower or bath and caring for my feet i put Vaseline all over my feet and then wrap my feet in plastic wrap for the night,and yes this might be crazy but by the second day my feet are very smooth and very healthy looking I've done this process for many,many,many years and get excellent results.😊

    Living in Arizona I wear flip flops pretty much year-round and my heels are AWFUL. I mean, like ogre feet trampling through a forest floor full of rocks and twigs awful. I pumice in the shower and have tried the sock thing but they still end up bad again in a day. So thanks for this tip! I'll have to try it.

  • @JessieGoGreen
    @JessieGoGreen 10 років тому

    Ive used this method for years now and i love it! The only difference is, I wrap my feet in a plastic bag before sliding my socks on over them. Creates me heat, and prevents the socks from soaking up most of the foot lotion.

  • @susanj.damico4771

    I used the pumice stone until my heels were soft and the dead skin was off, then I use Heal Balm lotion and omg my heels are so soft. I have not used the pumice stone in years. Then I use from Bath & Body Works, the True Blue Spa Cracked Heel Treatment. Then I use my favorite body lotion from Alba. I have been doing this for years and my feet and heels are so soft all year long. I also use socks too. Thank you Tati for your tip !! I would love to try the lotion :)

    Am I the only one who gets a little sad when it is Tip Tuesday. I need more of a Tati fix then two minutes or less! Haha! Love your tips though. I am totally going to get the Stridex pads. I hope they are not too difficult to find, I don't think I have seen them in the store since I was in high school. :) Btw, I also love the Dr Scholl's overnight foot repair cream. It's about $6 but works really well if you use it with socks and Mr. Pumice and you'll see great results in about 3 days. :)

    Lol - you don't get bad feet in the winter time. You get them in the summer from wearing flip flops. The act of the shoe flapping against your heel over and over creates dry, cracked skin. Also, walking around outside barefoot is really terrible on your feet. Your method will still work, of course, I'm just surprised that anyone would think that protecting your feet in socks and shoes all winter would make them calloused?!

    • @alice_rabbit8345
      @alice_rabbit8345 10 років тому +1

      I agree. I'm one of those weirdos that never ever walk around barefoot. I use lotion twice a day year round and at 54 have the softest smoothest feet!! I never use foot cream, just whatever I have around.

    My local wallgreens did not have stridex used the clearasil pads. What happens is the salisylic acid removes the dead skin and add some drugs store moisturizer and put those socks on your feet it's work like a charm. My daughters (8 &10) wanted to try it too so I let them and they said wow mommy! I just don't let them do it every night. Their feet are so cute and soft! However, it is good to get them in a good routine of taking care of themselves. What would I do without all the great youtube beauty gurus. Luv you all!

    My mom does the Stridex pads and vaseline, she calls it her "treatment" so all winter she asks us if our feet are dry and if we need her to do a "treatment" on them. t's funny and creepy but it sure does work.
