Medical Simulation Helps Parents and Providers at Nemours Children's Hospital

The Nemours Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) advances pediatric care and safety through training exercises in The Simulation Center at Nemours Children’s Hospital. Each year, they host hundreds of simulations for thousands of participants - from medical students to parents.
The NICE team uses lifelike mannequins for hands-on learning taught by expert clinical teams and educators. Their “preparation through simulation” includes bringing in community partners who provide frontline care for kids, such as cruise ship medical staff and Central Florida school nurses.
