- The Sultanate of Oman - famous for its legendary navigators amongst whom the most well-known was Ahmad Ibn Mâdjid - is where the director, Alexandre Mostras decided to meet the fishermen of the Gulf of Oman. They mostly are Omanis or Indians, and they are fishing on dhows from generation to generation and have carried on this tradition through years.

A very interesting subject but it might have been more interesting if you had filmed more of the men's feet, the tops of their heads, what lunches their wives had packed them and how they plunged the toilet. And talked about what pets they owned as children.
