- Bitcoin Ordinal Inscriptions leverage recent upgrades that allow single Satoshis to carry a small amount of data. Currently, that data is being used to hold NFTs but the possibility exists to send various types of data. The Ordinals are traded on Ethereum thanks to emblem vaults, a cross chain defi protocol that allows for interoperability without an Ethereum bridge.

Thank you for that great tutorial! I got one question. If I upload a collection of, lets say 5555 NFTs, does it affect the deployment fee exponentially? Do I need to pay hundreds and thousands of dollars then?
It would depend on traffic on the network and the amount of data. I cant answer to the cost specifically.
Thanks for the tutorial, I just want to make sure I understood it correctly: so inscribing an ordinal is basically the equivalent of minting an Eth NFT; and in both cases, the customer (rather than the image’s creator) is the 1 who pays the gas/inscription fee. Is that right?
It's not equivalent but I'm the case of gas, the user pays the network fee when they inscribe or mint.
