I discovered your channel this morning, and have since watched quite a few of your videos. Just let me say this: you're a true artist. Your videos are a delight to watch, and your photos are pure art. Wish I could have some framed at home!
I really appreciate that, dude. Thank you so much! And you can if you like! I just added some of the images from this video to my print shop. Every dollar I get from selling prints goes directly back into the channel!

@@Codacolor That's fantastic! Thanks, Cody! There's a small distance problem, since I'm from Brazil, but when I'm in the US, I'll be sure to order one!
Can’t express how excited I get when you upload. These videos are something special!
Can't express how much I appreciate that, man. The admiration is so very mutual.

milky way at Glacier point and Tunnel view are absolutely stunning
I just found you and I’m shocked to see how little subscribers you have. Every second of this video could be framed, it’s insane. You’re insane. The filming, the photography, the music, and the production of this video. I don’t know much but I know you’re going to be big
Wow, that's so incredibly nice of you to say! Don't know if I'm deserving of that level of praise. Thank you so much!!
Best one yet! You continue to amaze me. Bravo!
The pictures of glacier point are so calming. Sunrise was a perfect mood

Careful cinematography set up not only to document the scene, but also the way that you have experienced being there. Excellent content ji

What an amazing video
Underrated channel
Amazing video. Well done!
amazing work as always my dude
Thank you, Ari! 🙌🏻
A very thoughtful piece…..you truly captured the beautiful essence of Yosemite. I loved the sequences of the clouds moving over the landscape … it was very moving and makes me wonder how could you not want to preserve the beauty of this planet for the future of mankind and all it’s creatures.
I wonder that as well.
Amazing work dude.
Chase, thank you dude!!

Found your channel today Cody and its so awesome dude. I love the stillness and sweetness of the moments in this film. I'm taking a trip to Utah and Yellowstone in 2 months, and I'm now hoping to come away with a short film like this. Really inspired bro. Keep making awesome stuff! 🙌

wow... view just out from van @6:10 is amazing.. So relaxing video man!
Thank you, dude! Yosemite is truly bonkers.
Fantastic video as always! You should do more reviews of cameras! I really enjoy your presenting style!
Thank you for that! There is one I have that I haven't reviewed yet 👀
You deserve way more views than what you get! This is absolutely beautiful. I'm sure you'll blow up in no time!
Any advice on editing?
Ian, thank you! Appreciate you!! and I know this probably isn't the advice you're looking for but just do it consistently and try styles out of your comfort zone!
Toooooo much talent my man, thank you for blessing us with another quality video. Beautiful exposures and cinematography 🔥🔥
No thank you, dude. That's too kind. Really appreciate you!
Magnificent photography, videography and narrative letting the experience tell the story. 👍👍
You just won a new subscriber.
Thank you so much, Ian. Glad you dig the style!
Keep it up, this is real good work 👍🏽
Ricky, thank you! We're just getting started.
Hey Cody, really appreciating your work. I binged watch all your video for about a week now. I've learn a lot from you not just photography. I have inspired from you to pick up film as well. I would hope I can know your thought process when shooting in future videos.
Thank you, Chiseng! I have thought about exploring that topic in a future video. I'd want to make sure I don't rush that one and that I do it justice.
@@Codacolor That's great to hear! Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thoroughly enjoyed both this and the previous video (more like a short film at this point :) )! Also noticed the shift towards more quiet narrating, I found it cool and powerful a as well (even though I really enjoyed when you shared your thoughts in the videos)
Thank you, Artem! I enjoy making both styles and don't necessarily intend on excluding one of the other. Just experimenting with how I make things. Really glad your enjoy both!
Awesome stuff!!!!
Thank you!
Well done!
Thank you, sir!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!
Thanks!!
Beautifully captured. Did you play Rivers by Allman Brown on the guitar? Love that song.
Hi ! First of all, bravo for this video, we really go with you smoothly and all the images are stunning. I was wondering how do you manage to stabilize your camera inside the van while moving, do you have a special stabilizer? Maybe you say it in another video, I just discovered you channeled (I'm about to binge it all, I must confess). Thank you ! Lots of love for this beginning of 2022.
Thank you, Manon! I have triple suction cup mount that I stick on my window to mount the camera. It's not a perfect solution as it can get pretty shaky sometimes, but it works for now. I believe it's a Delkin Triple Gecko or something like that. Thanks for the kind words, and happy new year!
Man, this UA-cam subscriber count is so wrong.
Amazing stuff!
Well you've helped swing it in the other direction. Thank you!!
Another amazing one. Keep em coming!
Thanks so much! More in the pipeline!
I love your videos! I do have a question though. How do you go about purchasing/finding your film cameras?
Thanks so much! and eBay! There are a couple affiliate links in the description that will point you to pages for two of my favorite cameras if you're interested!
shocked by the high quality of the video😱
I realy like your videos! Could you make a video about your workflow with a7siii?
Thanks, Bogdan! I've considered it. May do one in spring. We'll see!
love it! what video picture profile do you shoot with your sony -- -cinetone or slog3?
Thanks dude! And slog3 all the way!!
This should have a million views.
But be sure my view counts as a thousand because I inhaled every second of your video.
That means the world to me. Thank you.
Love the video ❤dude what is that spot called in the thumbnail standing on the edge
Where do you get your stuff developed and scanned when you’re on the road? Do you go from place to place or do you send them anywhere specific?
Once I hit a critical mass of shot rolls, I swing through the nearest post office and mail my film to State Film Lab in Louisville KY. They're my lab of choice.
PS. i see where they are ;D, so you are in California now are you heading north bro?
Dude you want to make me buy a camera! AWESOME
You should!!
Pb&j heaven
If you were there!
wow
hi Cody where is this place? by the way is your van a v6 or v8? this places are going on my to do list thanks bro till next time like i all ways say "live free or die trying " ;)
V6! and yes, you should definitely visit!
What's the namw of the song in the start of the video?
Can you do a video on how u colour grade
Consider it up for consideration!
Is that a mamiya 6?
Day 243. Still upset about the immaculate ever-improving quality of Cody’s videos. Everything he creates is a movie… meanwhile I’m trying to figure out how to get the smell of dog crap off my shoes. He goes to some pretty special places, though I’m sure it’s some sort of CGI effect…not sure places like that exist and I know Cody can be full of shit when it comes to nature. Anyway, looks better than the city. My car got broken into last night by a homeless man and I ended up thanking him for making it quick. The contrast between Cody & I continues to spiral me into deep depression. That’s all for now. Will write back soon. Looking bleak.
Haha. Just that comment itself demonstrates your abilities as a storyteller. Love you brother
Where is my beautiful daughter!
I believe she was with you at the time!
looks like my life sucks
Wow, this is videography, not photography
