I gave my mom this phone after I updated through the google fi program. She was one of the people affected by the battery issue. So when I get home, I got to open it up and replace the battery. It gave the battery replacement warning twice more after that, but then disappeared. She's not had any problems with it since then. If it weren't for the upgrade program I was on, I would probably still be using it today. The battery on that thing lasted longer than my 7a. Feels like I have to recharge that thing daily now.
