Hey! What’s up Russell. I’m the one that bought the new 2025 Pro 4X with the Long bed about 2weeks ago. So far, I love everything about it. The good thing about Apple car play and Android Auto is that you take advantage of the whole screen. Also you can change the right side on the split screen regular mode in the settings to things like weather for the week, etc. I have no complaints. I wish the camera was better but other than that, it gets the job done. Also hopefully Nissan comes with more support for the long bed. Like Nismo Exhaust and maybe a longer bed rack.
My 2023 PRO4X has a locking tailgate and it works great. I installed the NISMO catback exhaust on my P4X 2 weeks ago, and I love it... Very mild tone and at cruise speed no drone. The NISMO is much lighter in weight over the OEM exhaust which is a boat anchor, LOL. The NISMO exhaust finisher tip is 4.25" and looks awesome, NISMO says the exhaust has 20% less back pressure than the OEM exhaust. I feel the engine runs better, I know my truck accelerates better.
2024 pro4x owner here, bought it in Canada with the luxury trim which translates to all the extra packages added. Didn’t bother to check for the electronic locking tailgate when I bought it, turns out it’s an dealership add on and mine didn’t come with it, which is ridiculous imo, it’s 2024 and a truck has no power locking tailgate, but I got a great deal so I can’t really complain too much
Miss my 2010 taco that had the frame starting to rust out. Looked a month ago for another vehicle. Saw what Toyota has done and that turbo 4 just isn’t working for me. Have a 24 pro 4x and really am happy with it just the way it is other than needing to install the all dogs leveling kit I got.
Why can't the 22-24 Frontier Pro-4x get a software update from Nissan for the off road mode intelligent around view camera system to upgrade us from 6 mph to 12 mph cut off? It is the same hardware, please give us the software update. 6 MPH is useless, which is why they changed it...

Awesome to hear feedback on that exhaust. I have yet to experience or even hear one.

You can buy the lock for it and it is an easy install.
