I remember when my mum came to Switzerland. she saw our two single duvets and she thought that we couldnt afford a king sized one and she offered to gift us it.... So lovely
A lot of Germans do not have such pillows at home and own half pillows which supports the neck better. Having separate duvets is much better than just one, so there is no fight with it and everyone has enough and how you need. If there would be just one duvet although we are two, I would order a second.
@@aidancooper9498 ... you still can with separate duvets. I usually fall asleep being spooned by my bf or on his chest under one of the duvets/both... but as the night goes on and we begin to twist and turn we still both have our own duvet and don't need to keep readjusting a single one to cover us both.
We have separate duvets. I got sick of one of us curling up with the queen size duvet and be toasty warm while the other one of us froze. It's wonderful.
I can't tell you that but all of my family uses separate duvets and it really helps when you have different sleeping styles and you don't have to work around the logistics or storing doubles and singles covers and remembering which one is which. My UK gf and I did the compromise of her having the double and me having a separate single cuz I'm used to using it to support my knees and it hasn't stopped us from cuddling either or rather made it more comfortable 👍
I've had separate blankets for years. He likes quilts i hate them. Works out great! I also use a blanket rather than a pillow, so much nicer for my neck
I find them way too soft with not enough height/support. Even if U fold & mould, after being asleep for an hour or two the pillow loses its shape & then is too flat causing U to either wake up uncomfortable or wake up next morning with a stiff neck. But I love the individual duvetts - no longer have to share with a blanket stealer....
Went to a holiday with few friends to Dortmund last year, my friend accidentally booked 2 rooms with double beds instead of 2 rooms with 4 singles and we had to share a bed 😂 the only thing that made that kind of ok was the separate duvets, so very nice for having them separate.
I myself need 3 pillows, 1 for my head, 1 for my back, and another one for the legs because I have huge butt and without the extra height, my lower back will hurt from my butt pushing it up.
My husband and i use separate blankets. It's literally the best thing because he can't pull my blanket off that easily and i can't easily pull his blanket off. Mouldable pillows sound like neck pain for me.
