I think the Hex Maniac one was in reference to the ghost girl in Lumiose city who would say "You're not the one." Before vanishing all eerily.
Until I saw this video's thumbnail, I had completely forgotten about the Lumiose City ghost girl and other oddities/mysteries in Lumiose City. It would be cool if we got to solve the various mysteries of that city and Kalos in the upcoming game.
They used the same model so the confusion is fair.
Maybe we meet her when she was alive and learn who she is waiting for…

Mega Evolutions kill the affected pokemon rapidly over time. It's the exchange for the power boost, and a cannon description if you go read the Mega Pokedex entries... If you want your favorite Poke to do that, then go right ahead! Please enjoy!... I think?
@@BaeronBubba I know what Mega Evolution does to some pokemon like Houndoom but I dont think that pokemon dex data is canon imo... Take Beautifly for example, a lovely butterfly pokemon... But one of it's dex entries says it's a vampire type Bug. So either Gamefreak decides to go full dark or full family friendly... Me, I just want a cool version of Venusaur and Blastoise, that's all... Had enough with Charizard.

technically they teased Legends Z-A since scarlet and violet allowed u to transfer legendaries, because the only ones you could never transfer was the kalos trio

When the pokemon from Arceus was in SV I knew it was mainline, even then the fact you could use Home meant it wasn't a spinoff

Apparently Gamefreak posted a job application for people with experience in Unreal Engine 5 like 8 months ago, yes THE Unreal Engine 5 used in games like fortnite, ARK 2, payday 3, Tekken 8, aaaaand... Palworld etc.
And the new switch 2 will be released next year with better hardware
AND they're taking their time in making this instead of rushing 1 game per year
The signs are good but it all depends on Gamefreak's competency (and they'll probably mess it up but atleast it'll be better than what we have now)
Hopefully this is them turning a new leaf and actually either massively increasing their staff to handle their ridiculous turn-around, or (even better) they are slowing down video game production and settling for either a 1.5- or 2-year production cycle.
Granted, the only way they'd slow down any media production is if they have major plans to do even more limited merchandise, given that merch is the bulk of their sales, with new gens being the source of new merch ideas.
The real question is what extreme lengths will Gamefreak go to avoid actually implementing Megas?
The Z-A might reference AZ, the mysterious old hobo that you meet in X and Y who turns out to be the immortal king of ancient Kalos.

ZA is the perfect opportunity to put the named Hex Maniac from Pokemon Masters, Helena, into the main series. She can be the game's Ingo and somehow get thrown into the past as well.
Alternatively, they could make her the Lumiose Ghost Girl which would be...mildly concerning but still legit.

while Z symbolizes the future and A the past.
Who knows what they will do with this. Maybe we'll find out zygarde is actually a pokemon from the future sent back in time? (Wild guess.) Would go with the logos Z going into the A.
It is called pokemon Legends Z-A so you have to say the Z and A seperately. Also hex maniac is best generic pokemon girl.
Prediction, based entirely on the fact that I would personally find it hilarious, the only mega evolution in Legends ZA will be Lucario. This is because, based on the lore in X and Y, it was the first one and therefore it would make sense that the rest will not have been discovered in the time that ZA takes place.
Legends doesn't mean only in the past, as this is nee development for the city, meaning the city is already built

I remember watching you when I was much younger, and honestly, as a senior now in high school, I'm kind of sad to see that you don't do the content that you used to do.
I understand that time changes everything, but from what I see now it's just reaction content, which is honestly just kind of repetitive.

Gen II, IV, V, VII, and 'maybe' VIII are the only starter sets they'd probably pull from.
Grass type: IV, V, VIII (unlikely to give us Mega Meganium, or Decidueye)
Fire type: IV, V, VII, VIII (unlikely to give us Typhlosion)
Water type: II, IV, VII, VIII (unlikely to give us Samurott)
With this in mind, it's probable that the Water starter will be Totodile as it's the only Gen II available.
I feel like GameFreak might try to 'balance' out the representation with the remaining starters, i.e. with another Gen V and another Gen VII (and from what we saw with the last Legends, they tried to give lesser used Mon's a spotlight).
For the Grass type, I think we'd probably get Turtwig (as Rillaboom and Serperior are already quite popular whereas Torterra is merely 'niche', and that's only thanks to its expanded moveset.
With Gen IV covered, that leaves the Fire type being between Tepig or Scorbunny (as Infernape is also already quite popular).
All in all, I think the final Megas are probably going to be:
Mega Torterra (Grass/Rock, a very viable yet critically underused type combination with only the Lileep line and Cornerstone Mask Ogerpon)
Mega Charizard Z (Fire/Electric with Levitate, because they gotta cater to the Zard)
Mega Feraligatr (Water/Dragon, another viable type combination with limited availability, Kingdra, Dracovish, Tatsugiri, Walking Wake, and Palkia)
People are saying Game Freak will either just use the Kalos starters and give them megas, or use snivy, scorbunny, and piplup as the starters.

Fun fact and spoilers for people who have never played X or Y: There is a character in the game named AZ, he was the king of ancient Kalos and eventually through a very long backstory became immortal. Legends Z-A is probably referencing him and the game probably will have him be mentioned or maybe even appear.

I'm honestly wondering if legends ZA will be in the far future... instead of the past. Because the logo DOES look futuristic. I know it's Zygarde symbols, but it looks like futuristic thing too.
But I am excited Zygarde is actually getting some lore. Cause for me, the Kalos region was always a hallow game to play, for me. Especially when it came for the whole zygarde gimmick thing

Yes for those that don't know, gen 1 protagonists/rival 11, 2-4 12 years old (except Wally who is likely 10 or 11 he's clearly younger than you are by a year or 2 especially since he can't get a starter (in games you need to be 11, 10 is the anime), gen 5 14-15 years old (except N who was I believe 21 or 22), then XY all 17-18, then they decided to go back to making protagonists/rivals 11 except Gladion obviously because him and Lillie aren't twins he is older, and they made it clear your LA protagonist is 15, 3 years after the events of DPP or BDSP Arceus yoinks you to Hisui. NOW not saying it will be a rated M game but... could more liberties be taken with this than LA? Along with it is one of the few times Pokemon has included dating in the game... ish I count the fireworks with Shauna, not as much as gen 5's ferris wheel or Fire Emblem games with dating mechanics or other RPGs, but still... how far will they go? Especially when in LA they had the Frosslass sidequest where a dude falls in love with a Frosslass and... babies Snorunt exist.
It's still Pokemon, they still want to be child friendly... but they have always had underlying adult themes even in RBGY, and LA was a bit more along those lines, how far will they go in ZA?... especially since I'm sure they know how thirsty fans are for Hex Maniac.
