Would this shaft fit a mark 2f face off head? Im really in the need for a new shaft and this looks like a really solid shaft
Yes, but be careful with the locking bolt, I would just use a self tapping screw.
Hey Greg, great work, I just bought one my self to go with the weapon x but at my local lacrosse store they said they would have to flip the shaft since it was a face off head and wouldn’t fit the right way due to the throat, is that correct. Also I am loving the shaft so far

Would the carbon mtx work well for someone who does faceoffs but also plays midfielder? Also Greg I saw you at the PLL championship!
We don’t recommend carbon fiber for most face off guys so I think it would depend on how much you really face off. Glad I got to meet you!
How much does the 60 inch shaft weigh

May need to check out those butt ends. My maverick ABE is awful, even after sanding it smooth it still digs into my hand
These are rubber and very comfortable. I think you will like it !
I just got a pair of ECD sliding butt ends. They are impressive. The plug fits excellent and the rubber texture is the right amount of grippy.

This is my favorite shaft I've ever owned and for a $100, as a dmid I would love a flex 1 but this does the job well
Have your checked out the Carbon 2.0 Box shaft. It is the perfect D mid shaft and is not even on our flex scale as it is super stiff

Is it more durable than a standard metal shaft for defense?
It is possible it could more durable then a metal shaft but you can't compare the two as they are not the same. Carbon fiber has really cool performance benefits that you can not get from using an alloy shaft.

Yes
Are these shafts for box lacrosse too ?
I would recommend our Carbon BOX from our site for that.
What is better for high level lacrosse carbon 3.0 or carbon pro 2.0
Depends on your budget, both are great but the Pro 2.0 is still the more advanced shaft.

Yes, but we don't recommend the pair. For facing off you are much better off using an alloy shaft.

They are in development but will be some time.
Is the plastic inside the shaft removable?
Yes, You can use a blow dryer or heat gun to loosen the glue holding that in place, then you can remove it with a pair of needle nose pliers
@@ECD tried the hair dryer/plier method to remove plastic for face off head but didn't work. Any other suggestions?

Yes, you will need to remove the insert at the top of the shaft.

Yes, however we do not recommend them together. You are better off using an alloy shaft to faceoff.

Depends on your size, style of play, etc!

Think of this as our performance line and the pro line is a head of it. The LTX and MTX would be our most elite level gear

Nah, this shaft is hella durable besides with cross checks, which is super common in box

Since you can move the end cap will it move while your playing
I had the same question but if you tape over it, it shouldn’t move.
It can move a little bit but we recommend taping it down once you find the desired locaton.

Yes! We design it to be snug in our head with no rattle and it fits all heads very well.

30 inch- is around 160 grams with the end cap, the 60 inch model is roughly 360 grams

No, this is our performance line that improved upon the Carbon 2.0 ...Not the Pro series.

Sometimes you need to add a little heat to soften the glue up, placing the head in a pot of hot water is an easy way to do that or a blow dryer/heat gun will do the trick
