    Thank you! Finally! I've been waiting for a solid review by someone who has used this shaft in games. Always great content that is both entertaining and informative.

    I have this shaft and its absolutely amazing!!! The only thing I'm sad about is that the shiny finish for the LTX come off once you use it for a bit. I also received a very HARD check on the top where the crab is and it cracked a little tiny bit. But other than that its amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Nice detailed review. Do you still use this shaft? How's it holding up?

      Love the LTX! It's definitely very durable for it's weight, but I have broken one (in a way that was very understandable), so I have an MTX as well and alternate based on what I'm feeling! I would just choose based on how long you want it to last.

    Do you think this shaft could work well for a youth ( 6th grade) 2 way middie

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  3 роки тому +1

      Absolutely, but you could also save plenty going with a different option at that age.

    I haven't played lacrosse in over 25 years. Is crosschecking allowed now?

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  3 роки тому +2

      Defensively more or less. It's turned into a similar situation as slashing, where it's allowed within reason, nothing high, etc.

    Is it still worth getting a Z one? Or should I wait?

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  3 роки тому +1

      For sure! The Z One is a low-pocket head whereas the Z 3 will be a mid pocket. The "zones" have to do with where the pocket is placed, so it's not a mark 1/mark 2 situation. Also we've been waiting for the z 3 for a good two years now haha

    Yes dude ! What do you think about this for a dmid/ transition midfielder ? Il thinking about upgrading my carbon 2.0 since it’s less flex

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  3 роки тому

      Honestly I'm still hesitant. I haven't played box with this yet, and in field I'm purely offensive so don't put it through all that much impact. So it could work, but there's still the chance you snap a $155 dollar shaft within a month of good use haha.

  • @scottmccaig6185

    stiffer than HyperCore?

    • @mainelymesh
      @mainelymesh  3 роки тому

      Glad you raised that: I haven't tried a Maverik composite shaft since the hyperlight, but that was also similarly stiff. Neither of them produce any noticeable flex.
