    This pattern has worked out so well for me!! It is soo flattering. I have adapted slightly. I don't have an open back and have added slightly thicker straps - also, I am one round less than you (I guess I crochet loosely?). However, this top looks fabulous over a vest top (cami) and I am wearing at the moment over a long sleeved tee with jeans. I LOVE IT. xxx thank you xxx

    I love this. I'm starting one for myself when my purple yarn is dry. My back is not as firm as I would like for back out tops, and I'm older so Im doing the Back same as Front.

      Hi Jahdmix, I just wondered what you did different. I am going to add slightly larger straps (due to the fact I am slightly larger and need to cover bra staps}…. also I am 54, so will probably have to wear over a vest top (may also have to fill the back bit in coz I haven't got a lovely, young back to show off) xxx However, this is such a beautiful pattern and I cannot wait for my yarn to arrive x

    What the size of the square please?

  • @rhondatherrien9412
    @rhondatherrien9412 2 роки тому

    This looks lovely but I don't see where you say the weight of the yarn. I don't see you mention the size of the finished squares so we can figure out if this is going to fit. I see you say 3.5mm hook, which is helpful but if I don't know the size of yarn to use with it, it makes it difficult to make.

    A little confused on round 4. I noticed when getting to the beginning of the corners you dc into each stitch because there is no ch 1 to skip at the corner. However when you go to the second two dc in the corner and begin the row of dc you skip that hidden stitch? Also you give a count for rows 3 and 4 but on the continuing pattern, how many does each side increase?

    • @madamc3458
      @madamc3458 5 років тому +1

      Hi Susan. This is a strange pattern! You kind of have to make it up as you go along. Sometimes you miss a dc to dc into on the next round. You just have to keep counting. All rows should have the same dcs for each round - and they should always be an even number. The ones I sometimes miss are one of the dcs in the corner (if this makes sense?). Believe it or not, squares still look got and not with odd holes where there shouldn't be x (the chart on 17.09 may help you) x

    When I'm on Row 6, I get 7 dc in each and one odd With 8dc? Am I doing something wrong?

    • @AllCraftTV
      @AllCraftTV  6 років тому +1

      You have probably increased by one somewhere in that row or in a previous row. Just go off what is your most common number of dc from the other sides.

    • @AllCraftTV
      @AllCraftTV  6 років тому +1

      Just keep repeating the two main rounds until you are happy with the size of the squares

    What if I want a size small?! How many squares would I need?!

    • @AllCraftTV
      @AllCraftTV  6 років тому +1

      Heba Negmeldin It is the same number of squares but you will need to do less rows for each square.

    is there anyway to make this into a dress?

    • @AllCraftTV
      @AllCraftTV  6 років тому +1

      Definitely! That is a great idea :) To make it into a dress just keep adding more squares down the top. So instead of only having 2 rows of squares which is what I did to make it a top, add as many rows as you liked to make it long enough for a dress e.g. add another 6 rows of squares. With the back of the top, just sew on squares so that you don't have an opening/ gap like that on the dress, e.g. the back of the t-shirt will have 3 squares, instead of 2 and then every 2 rows of squares will have 3 squares at the front and back with 1 square on either side of your body.

    May i know how much yarn did u use for this project?

    • @AllCraftTV
      @AllCraftTV  6 років тому

      Elaine Kang Of course ☺ For the size I am wearing I used 6 x 50gram balls at approx. 115m so I believe that works out to be 690m or 754 yards. This will change depending on how small or large you make your squares.

      All Craft TV I thought of making mines with wider straps by doing extra sc's around neckline and sleeve openings. Do you think this would work out ok?

    • @AllCraftTV
      @AllCraftTV  6 років тому

      Yes that will work out well :)
