Yes, explained WELL. I never really gave it thought about shape of VB's because I'm so used to using old school Verbs thru Mixer on my Keys ( Lexicon PCM 90,92 & 96, YAMAHA SPX 2000 ...). For a Musician to be creative, This can really help.
An excellent explanation of the Non-Linear Reverb, having been a fan of she-gaze / My Bloody Valentine stuff - It's so great that this is in the new 3.70 Firmware upgrade. Thank you Jason for such a wonderful explanation.
Reverse reverb was kind of the final frontier keeping my Source Audio Ventris on my board 😂. L6 did a great job with this. I suspect I could get close to replacing my beloved Afterneath with this one.
Thanks for the cool in depth demo. 👍 I tried it initially, but obvious now, I did not spend enough time exploring it's features and possibilities. We have so many awesome Updates from Line 6, I'm in a bit of a quandary. I've started prefixing my HX Stomp Preset Names with the different Firmware "Update Release Numbers" in an attempt to keep track of them so I can remember which ones need more exploration. I wish the HX Stomp had a 2nd Setlist. I'd use it to do things like Load the newest Firmware Update, Test the new Blocks, Experiment with Presets. As it stands, I use my one Setlist for my favorite Presets, and the equivalent of genre Pedalboards. This simply does not leave enough open slots in that Setlist for all the things I want to try. I do have Helix Native, and Multiple Setlists in it helps. But it's not the same, as the physical Knobs on the Stomp makes Dialing in a much faster, and intuitive process, much like using individual stomp pedals.
I tried this reverb but probably not for long enough. After this video I’m going give it much more time (and the Bloom). Well done, again. P.S. Nothing to do with the video, just really cool specs!!!
Any way of using the Helix range as "plugins" to route signal through USB into and back to apply reverb, delay etc on soft synths and other in-DAW audio?
@@Nicky-TNo. The helix unit connects via USB as an audio device, I want to know if it does the same as other audio devices and lets you route audio back into it from the DAW. Why would I pay for a plugin version when I have the hardware?
man that piece of music u played in the end is so epic... love ur playing! rock on.
Thank you so much for the kind words :-) It is much appreciated!
@@JasonSadites I have to agree. I usually stop before listening (sorry!) but not anymore!!!
I was delighted that they finally implemented a reverse reverb. Working in shoegaze/ dreampop this will be a great tool!
Love this video! Thanks for explaining. 🙌🏻
Thanks so much and my pleasure 😀

Killer playing at the end there JS. ROCK ON!
Thank you :-)
Awesome stuff! I just got an HX One and this is definitely giving me ideas.
Thank you! Enjoy :-)

The LT and full Helix have multiple setliss. I can agree it helps to demo cool patches by others
My pleasure and glad you enjoyed :-)
Jason, that demo for 3.7 was incredible. Do you have a bandcamp or something I get the track from.
Yes he has many CDs and a bandcamp where you can buy/download all his music
Thank you so much Noah :-) Really glad you enjoyed! My Bandcamp is here: jasonsadites.bandcamp.com/album/brief-eclipse Thanks!

Me too. Got to spend more time exploring all the cool stuff in the Updates.
Thanks so much! And thanks for the compliment on the glasses :-)

That would be the Helix Native plugin

@@Bloor005 Well, I did not know you had the hardware. But Native is available at a huge discount if you own the hardware, as you may already know.
Sounds like it would be killer with a reverse delay!
Yeah, absolutely :-)
