After watching “Father Stu” I was profoundly changed. I was a fallen away Catholic for many years, but always longed for a spiritual home. I am now working on reverting to my traditional Catholic faith. Please pray for me.
I hope this interview can propel this channel much higher to a wider audience. Father Pagano is such a holy priest that I hope his ministry reaches more people. Keep up the great work!
I've noticed that Mark is hitting several well known Catholic shows to promote and love that he said this was his favorite. Y'all have such a great dynamic with him. Also, love his Ohio shout out. Go Bucks!!
Mark has also been on network TV, including “The Today Show” and “Good Morning America.” And he did it on Ash Wednesday 2024, displaying an almost perfect cross on his forehead! “Father Stu” was a fabulous film!
Can't wait to see the movie . I to left seminary 61 years ago, will celebrate our 60th wedding anniversary in August, still both very involved with our catholic faith.
Can’t wait to see this movie. I had the honor to know Fr. Stu when I was in college. I was at Carroll while he ministered in Helena. Such a loving man. When he was telling us students about his life in 2010, I never thought it would be on the big screen! Proud to have known Stu, proud to be Catholic!!!
That was really cool. I’m from a little south of Boston myself. I remember when I was a kid on my Boys Club traveling team, Mark came and visited the New Bedford Boys Club and they had photos from his visit there. I’m just glad he’s doing well and keeping the faith, spreading the good message, with films people are longing for in their hearts. The message of love and acceptance and forgiveness is very much needed. Very much looking forward to Mel Gibson’s performance and learning about this guy Father Stu. Also it’s funny because I think Mark’s brother is a Catholic priest. Thanks guys
Wow what a beautiful testimony Mark. How blessed are we to use our gifts and talents to bring each other to Christ. If you haven't heard Father Pagano speak on behalf of our Lord Mark, you should celebrate mass just once with him.
Hello all, I admire his bravery, for a great actor to play a Priest now a days. So great to see and I also love that he is aware that God is the one who gave him his gifts and now knows that he can make a great use of it. I love these kinds of positive stories. Pls keep up the great work. I can imagine Mark and Eduardo Verastegui in a future movie 😮 🤗💕. God bless and keep the faith.
This was an awesome interview! Can’t wait to see Ryan Del starring in his own movie 😄😄😄👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Marky Mark is coming to get you lol 😂 Cheers from Australia 🇦🇺 my husband and I love your show 👍🏼
This inspires many of us that we look on our roots, and give some of ourselves on this Lent. I'm fan of this guy, and seeing his faith unshaken with everything in his industry, now inspired me to be more disciplined hereon.
I am telling our RCIA group to go see it. I can't stop talking about. Thank you Fr. Stu for sharing your life and Thank you Mark for your dedication in making this movie very faith growth with so much hope. I tell my grandchildren "I Love You Always" Mark "I Love You Always" ❤️ ❤️
This will be good. I predict it will be one of their classics their aria or concerto even. One of my favorite episodes is when they read comments for hour so I might be easily entertained.
GOD please hear my prayers. I keep fasting and praying still no break through. I feel like a failure. I lost my job for declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health conditions (Lupus) and (heart disease) I’ve been struggling to pay bills and keep food on the table since. I’m so ashamed of my situation. I’ve been mocked and laughed at because of my circumstances. It hasn’t been easy especially as a single mother with two autistic sons both are non verbal. My husband passed away years ago. I’m all alone. I’m sick of struggling and feeling like a burden. I’m too ashamed to ask for help. I want to give up on life. But my faith in God is too strong. I still have faith God will change my situation. Even though I’m facing homelessness this month with two young children. I will continue to keep FAITH. FAITH OVER FEAR!
God helps those who help themselves reaching out is not a sin or anything to be ashamed of .. I give to my parish weekly so that are able to help those like yourself who have needs.. please call your local Catholic Charities they may help with more then just financial assistance. I am praying for you and your children .
There is NO shame in asking for help. It’s why we are a church, we are here to hold and to be held ❤️ definitely reach out to your local parish, find out if they know of local food banks and other financial assistance in your area. You also PAID for social services, apply for Medicaid for your kids, if you haven’t already. You can get food stamps in the meantime while you find work! Also, I work in the airline industry. We are HIRING for all kinds of positions. We desperately need gate agents, flight attendants, ramp agents. Anyone reading this, please, if you need to find work, look up job listings in Spirit, Delta, United, American, JetBlue, Alaska…all are hiring like CRAZY. If you live close to an airport, why don’t you check it out. They’re good paying jobs with good benefits. Just please don’t give up! ❤️
Blessing upon you! I've been in just about the same place as you for an years. I sustained a bad spinal cord injury, diabetic, and now in the final stage of Kidney Disease (renal failure). I was a local celebrity. Good Catholic singer, entertainer, radio and TV. God showed me that I was using my faith, mixed with celebrity status, to promote MYSELF. Not HIM. So, He took it all away. When I repented and completely abandoned MYSELF to God, He picked me up and put me in a really good place. Spiritually and earthly. I'm no longer a celebrity. Most have forgotten who I 'was'. But even though I now have almost nothing, God supplies my NEEDS, not my wants. It's so wonderful to have Him close by after turning my life 180 degrees around, even audibly speaking to me a few times. FOR REAL! The embrace of God's love is so overwhelming that it is even a GOOD type of PAINFUL at times. ( hard to explain a wonderful pain ) I have to say PLEASE STOP! Thank you FATHER for loving me but that overwhelming sense of LOVE is sometimes its more than a human can handle. My son made it through school, college and has a wonderful, permanent, municipal job and is set for life. All because I trusted God and relied on Him to HELP ME get through. YOU need to be a participant in God's plan for you. Just keep praying about it, asking for HIS direction and THANKING HIM! Being thankful and letting HIM know is a golden key to earthly and spiritual happiness.
I've been praying for this for you guys for years... hopefully he'll do a full episode with yall. I'd love to see a movie . Delecross. . I understand. I have a not to proud moment to. Yet it turned out the best... ?
Awesome interview, bros. You guys bring us joy and hope. Father Pagano’s tan even during Winter is sth remarkable for the show. Fr. Val Lima - Archdiocese of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
I'm impressed you got him to break out of "interview mode" and joke around with you. I've watched a couple other interviews he's done with Catholic outlets, and he wasn't this relaxed in any of the others.
I read somewhere that when Mark was younger - he was in jail and the only person that visited him in prison was his parish priest. Cannot wait to see this movie

From the gospel of Mark: 9:24: "I'll find you! I'll find you!"
Fr. Pagano: "It's cawled South Beach Mark, Soult Beach"
Father Stu is a powerful movie. If it doesn't break you at the end, well, I guess no movie can.
