@@Lost-In-Indonesia I miss SG a lot dont know why haha, though many people says Indonesia more incredible, i am sure yes, but yah too big means cost much 😁. Living in Gresik west surabaya, not so many tourism place but wtd
Thank you :). The ferry schedule can be found at the website (at the website, beneath the booking part, you can find the all-day schedule). Since I took the Horizen Ferry, their website is: horizonfastferry.com.sg/. There are also Batam Fast: www.batamfast.com/home/index.ashx; Sindo Ferry: www.sindoferry.com.sg/; and Majestic Ferry: www.majesticfastferry.com.sg/. It seems no matter book online or go directedly to the counter, the one-way ticket fee from Singapore to Batam is same at 40 Singapore dollar (around USD28)
Okay great, thank you very much! So the first part sounds easy :) . And do you know which days the PELNI goes to Jakarta? And where to buy those tickets exactly?
@@helenafechner3436 Hi, No problem:) The Pelni Ferry is indeed the difficult part. This is due to several reasons: 1) There is a website: www.pelni.co.id/en, but unfortunately it is works online booking only for Indonesian citizens. The website requires you to input your ID number. It works for Indonesia format of Identity card, but not for passport. 2) Pelni Ferry did have a general schedule for each vessel, but it seems it change constantly which you can only find out 1-2 weeks before departure. And you have to find out by yourself by check their website regularly. From their general schedule: Every Wednesday afternoon the ferry KM Kelud departure from Batam to Jakarta (could anytime between 12:00pm to 3:00PM, need check online); From Jakarta to Batam usually departure at every Friday midnight at 11:59PM. But again, like I said, the schedule change very often, sometime there is no ferry at all for a whole week, sometimes they change 1- 2 days later (or earlier) then schedule. (I have been experiencing a lot of times). So, although can’t book ticket online but still need to check the schedule online though. 3) As a foreigner, you are required to go to their branch office at each city where Pelni Ferry covered. At Batam, it is located around Sekupong area at Batam, the google map inform: goo.gl/maps/6VxVC32c6fhKcy9r7; At Jakarta, their office located at Tanjung Priok area and the google map inform: goo.gl/maps/FgBn12gizydv9Mqz8; (At Jakarta, used to be 2 offices, now last time seems only the one I mentioned is still working) Sorry that I only rely on the Route: Batam-Jakarta-Batam, I’m not have much inform for other cities in Indonesia. Frankly, if you a frequently traveler by flight, taking the Pelni Ferry needs a bit “adventure spirit”. The conditions of the ferry as I describe at my second video(ua-cam.com/video/bTeIr3VCsL8/v-deo.html) already. If you not yet prepared, taking a flight is still more convenient though :) Good Day!
Hi, I just check the Pelni Website and seems there is not schedule for booking yet, usually i just input departure city and arrival city and search, there will be schedule show up, but this time seems Octo schedule not yet published. I've experience this once, and almost until 3 days ago of the departure, the website just post the schedule, sigh!
Hi Bro, it seems not able to bring motorcycle:). I’m not 100% because never noticed any one did that, but let me keep an eye on that during next time!:)
Hahaha honestly not going to lie i think take a plane is better less hustle an like a flight now from singapore to jakarta now is around 130 dollar which is lesser then what I believe you have spend on your itinerary. But great that you shared your experience because i nvr thought you could take a ferry to jakarta from batam.
Haha, Totally agree! The most torturing part is too long time spent on the trip. If it is not because of the flight anxiety, I'll sure should take the flight. 😀
@@Lost-In-Indonesia hahaha same here im scared of flying but i have took more then 20 flights but my recent one was abit scary because of the rough turbulence
Hi Bro, thanks for comments! As far as I know, Bangladesh seems not on the visa free list for Indonesia customs, you probably needs to apply Visa on Arrival. However I’m not 100%sure:). Better check on immigration websites. Good luck!
Nice video, interesting and quite informative. Have a great day brother and stay safe..
Thank you Bro! For comment on my first UA-cam video:)! Good day🙏

Hi! Good Video! Do you know anything about the schedule of the boat or how much in advance it should ideally be booked? Couldn’t find any info online
