Please can you tell me the exact brand for the carbon fiber filament you used in the end? is it the PETG-CF or the PAHT-CF filament from Bambu Lab?

Its PLA-CF as i can see in settings

Great informative video there! Curious to know how Carbon filament compares to abs filament when it comes to heat resistant and quality of print?

It's Carbon Composite filament, not carbon fiber.... with only 12-15% of carbon fiber.
I also have a Bambu X1 Carbon, but I use it with Prusa's PCCF (PC Blend CF), it contains much more carbon and PC is more temperature resistant than any PLA/PET/PETG shit).
I hope you're using a hard-steel extruder, as carbon composite filament is very abrasive and destroy any standard extruders

If only it has 1%, its carbon fiber, so 12 to 15 its carbon carbon fiber 🤭, for sure it has to be mixed with plastic, no way to inject 100%carbon fiber from nozzle

      @@MiaMia-ru8ce tf are you saying
Don't confuse carbon fiber with pure carbon...
Carbon fiber is only 100%. If you have to combine it with another material then it's carbone composite and not carbon fiber anymore.
Since filaments aren't 100% CF, they are composite. Filament with 1% CF is a carbon composite filament and ofc it's not strong and resistant as a real CF part.
On an equivalent composite, the more carbon fiber you have, the more resistant you are. A PETCF with 28% CF is stronger than a PETCF with only 15% CF. Beyond that, the materials used in addition to CF also make a difference. For ex PC Blend CF (PCCF) is around 28% CF, with Polycarbonate. It's a carbon composite with only 28% carbon fiber.
F1 parts are mostly using 100% CF (only fibers) with a resin, they don't combine it with shitty materials like PLA. Because it's shit.
Thats why Lamborghini call them Forged Composite (because they use forged carbone in composite) and not Forged carbon fiber.
So no, 1% isn't the same as 100%. Even 5% more carbon makes a big difference to the strength of a composite.
Saying he print carbon fiber is wrong. He just print a regular carbon composite (and by far, not the best one)

PC Blend CF is really good also the other PC Blends. But the price is a bit high and also the availability sometimes is very bad.

As a x1 carbon owner you should know that comes with a hardened steel nozzle.
AND hardened steel gears in the extruder (as any printer should have that's used to print any carbon induced filament).
So 'hoping" he has that in his printer that is exactly the same one you say you have... Lol.
And going on a rant instead of just correcting info lost in translation, wow.

@@FATSNAIL-FPV And a 0.4 SS nozzle. This explains the precision of using the HS nozzle.
As for the rest, I won't even bounce on these tasteless personal attacks.
