@@darthspectre2775 yeah. in the past they've rank reset people who go into queue without the intention of ending the game. I'm not really a fan of reporting off of pvp, but in this case they very literally did not hit me for the entire game, so i think the bad intentions were kinda clear
As someone who has played w101 for years now but has not touched pvp, could you do a video on the basics of PvP, like all the lingo you use, basic strategy, stuff like that?
sure, if you watch wizard101 videos you might know who he is, same if you do pvp a lot. but you have to be a hardcore player to remember who his characters are given how names are
because fun gameplay is fighting your opponent, not the deck or clock. all jaders did was heal, they didn’t try to beat their opponent whatsoever, so jading was really annoying and boring, ( and some jaders would use an autoclicker to afk pass so they could sleep if their opponent didn’t flee).
Nah, the mistake was thinking that there would be less tomfoolery because of new years. All the normal/interesting players are out with an actual life vs the degens.
Before guardian spirit nerf and Diego being stupid because wings was favored like 4x more, it was actually unbeatable. Bring back mc sinbad is all I say
I have the darkmoor deck that allows 10 copies of life spells and 8 copies of other schools, plus 32 tc's that's a lot of sanctuary's and healing cards. If you wanted to be toxic. Maybe KI should make PVP decks with spell copy and tc limits built in "as you populate it".
It’s crazy people still attempt strats like this even in today’s meta. It’s sad and pathetic honestly, I can tell a lot of people just fled and didn’t want to deal with a long match & that’s what she’s banking on. Problem is that’s what will keep her at captain, up here in the higher ranks we won’t give no free wins
@@caw... we call it stalling, it’s been called that for years & never heard of “turtling”. One thing I disagree with people that report her is, it’s in the game & if we are going to hold people like her accountable for doing it. Then we should be holding Kingsisle accountable for allowing this bs to happen. This isn’t the first year, it’s been over a decade. Jading has always been a bs strat that’s gotten exploited, with stat caps it’s not as easy to get away with anymore but even then with the healing boosts having no cap it’s ridiculous how much a life wizard can heal for. All I’m saying starts like this are pathetic but Kingsisle should get the end of the stick for it not players like her who attempt it
@@mattgibney4085 there's a difference between turtling and jading. jading is having really high defense and turtling is stalling the game to either cause a tie or have your opponent flee. You can't keep nerfing a school and life imo is not that good. there's no reason why pixie needs to start healing 125 health just because there are a select few are abusing it. also they were using a bugged deck which allowed them to store a lot more cards than other people which I believe is 10 school spells, 8 bubbles and a lot more deck size. it's not meant to be in the game
@@caw... like I said jading doesn’t exist anymore, it’s always been called stalling. I have warlord in every school except death and I’m currently getting him to warlord in this meta. Life is good, what are you talking about? I have a life warlord max level 170 & I don’t need no stalling strat. This meta is ruled by life, death & balance. Myth & ice follow right behind but they are not on top. You do not understand how high someone can increase their healing in/out put with these new jewels with little to no effect to their stats. Unless you haven’t touched pvp having 70-75 resist to all schools come natural to every wizard, you don’t even need to ward anymore. This strat is pathetic and it’s always been this way for the past decade. It took forever for them to ban angel wings, they need to set a cap on in/output healing boosts. Just how we have a cap for damage, resist & pierce.
@@mattgibney4085 I see people previously using jading and turtling interchangablely but then the words eventually seemed to gain two different meanings in my experience. I'll just explain the difference from how I see people talk about the problem: jading in general is having extremely high resist. there would be schools who ran ~80 resist and blade stacked, so it was really card to kill them and their entire strategy was to one shot you. that is not stalling since they have an objective and are willingly playing the game. turtling is when you have a build just to entirely not engage with the opponent. that means you don't hit and wait for the timer to end. this used to happen a lot when dooring and desyncing yourself from the game timer a few years ago revolved around, having 70+ resist and spamming heals, or if you go back further, spamming using wings of fate to bug out diego and going for the timer win. stalling will get you pvp banned but jading won't. the issue were people with really high resist with extreme amounts of healing. that's pretty much how I understand it from many other players talking about the problem. either it's called jading and turtling or it's seperated. life imo is not that good. it's a school in the middle, not good or not bad, its definitely one of the more balanced schools out there. the meta is kinda ass with everyone just being better storms everyone and their mom can make warlord rn. people are just dual schooling storm and trying to one shot you like that strat isn't braindead.
Its such a shame that as things are added that are suppsed to make the game more exciting and complicated, the simplilar and more spamable strats are becoming more common. Example being my brother told me as he was playing, a myth just strait up did 2 buffs, cast minno, (pure damage no gambit) and repeat until they won.
Why false report? That person cojld of spent lots of money to the game... and you reported someone for doing a strategy you hate. Come on man... its W101.
intentional stalling is not a false report. they went into pvp without the intention of hitting their opponent at all...if they're doing this to a lot of players, it'll probably result in a rank reset as they've done in the past which incentivizes against stalling on purpose in pvp
@@AwesomeTheSauce Yeah nah that was definitely a false report, they likely had hits in, they just never got the chance to use any of them except earthquake because your using a busted ass school who heals WHILE they deal damage. That entire match he was stuck backpedeling because the dps you do versus the healing he gets is vastly disproportionate, hating on a school for playing to their school identity is actually wack. Maybe if you took more than 2 seconds to think between each word you spew you would realize strategy is a thing, if just want to blade into big numbers hit go back to pve scrub.
I don’t see a reason to report that person! I feel like every single player has different ways to PvP! Life Wizards have strong hits too. Maybe if she combined hits and healing, it would have been better! Anyways, making reports like that can get you in trouble too! 🤷♀️
